I've been sobbing throughout this entire song..
I've never had a friend to text memes to.
No one to vent to.

No one to help me with homework.
I've always been the one to help, the one who unconditionally loves, even when it's time to stop.
When I came out as non binary.. everyone left me. Just because of my gender expression. I felt so alone, like I could never open up again. I've barely talked to a single person.. the only person I have is my twin, who keeps trying to shut me out.. when I need her, she's just shut her door. When she needed me.. my door was wide open. When we just wanted to talk.. she was there. I would help her with her homework. I would teach her everything I know. She depends on me. While I have to cry alone at night with no one to talk to. I've never felt so alone in my life.. I don't have anyone to talk to, real life doesn't feel real anymore. I cry myself to sleep at night, I've barely felt a twinge of happiness.. there's no one to turn to. No one there for me. I can't get out of this depression.. it's like a hill I've fallen down, and then it narrows into a 50 foot deep well, impossible to get out of unless you have a rope and someone to pull you out.. except the rope doesn't exist, and no one cares enough to even look down the well, even while they hear my screaming.
Just when I need someone.. they all deserted me. I have no one to turn to. All I have is music and my pen, while I write out my metaphors and poems and pour my heart into my drawing... balancing school, and stress, and depression, and sleep deprivation, too much work, feeling lost in the woods.. like Hansel and Gretel in the woods, except without the bread crumbs to guide me out.
I just want to give up. I just want to hide in the corner, absorbed by the shadows.. until I remember I already am in the shadows. Hardly anybody's ever noticed me. Everything was fake..

I can of relate to this song. Before I changed schools, everyone in my class was my friend. So I figured it would be the same. It wasn't. (I was in 2nd grade at the time.) Everyone was pulling jokes on me and making fun of me. But I didn't really care at the time. I was just like "why are they laughing." In 5th grade was when I finally realized it and that I had embarrassed myself. People would still play pranks on me and stuff. I am sadder than I was in 2nd grade. I only have 2 best friends now.
