Structured Literacy Card Drill & teaching -ng

Amy leads her 3rd and 4th graders through the following components of a structured literacy card drill:
1. review of previously high frequency words that need to be explicitly taught (for reading and spelling)
2. review of previously taught suffixes
3. explicitly teaching the "heart word" they
4. review of previously taught letter-sound correspondence cards
5. explicitly introducing -ng (-ing, -ong, -ang, -ung) as welded sounds
