Here's a cool idea: Make videos that are NOT narrated by AI! And with more information, like: Where exactly in the car is that tiny engine? Is it Front or Rear wheel Drive? How is the power transmitted to the wheel(s)? Where is the fuel tank?
Als sie neu und gelegentlich auf der Strasse zu sehen waren, habe ich sie belaechelt. Heute finde ich die Fuldamobile, und speziell die NWF-Version, ganz toll. Ich moechte gerne eins haben... When they were new an could occasionally be seen on the roads, I thought that they were ridiculous. Nowadays I find the Fuldamobil, and especially the NWF-version, quite exciting. I would like to have one...
Despite the commentary, it *was* a practical car for its time. Most of Europe was still getting on its feet in 1954, and only the upper middle class could afford a Volkswagen. Working stiffs made do with feet, bicycles or scooters. Microcars like the Fuldamobil were springing up all over, providing basic (very basic!) enclosed transportation for those whose ambitions or family size had outgrown two-wheelers. Much more successful, but similar sized cars like the Goggomobil, FIAT Topolino (& later 500) and BMW Isetta were popular into the early 1960s. Yes, they were tiny and slow by modern standards, but they fit their times admirably.
