to me it's just kicking a ball and boring. Best players are like 5'6" 135 lbs. Whereas US sports like NFL and NBA are freaks athletically. NFL having 6'6" 280 lb Defensive Ends that run a 4.5 second 40 yard dash or 10.0 second 100 meter and can bench 225 (100 kilos) 39 times. or NBA players who are 6'10" who can dunk a rim if it were raised to 13 or 14 feet in the air. That is exciting. Those are actual athletes and tip top of human athleticism/strength/and speed. A 5'6" 135 lb guy kicking a ball is not exciting. Only thing I think is cool about soccer is when a player can do a real bend curve on a shot or a free kick made from far out.
