Really very useful information. It seems that there are some Scopus persons are involved in doing this for the benefit of cloned journal, or removed journal or journal under inspection. If this issue will not resolved quickly, the value and trustworthy of Scopus in academia will reduce drastically.

Brother really very useful info. Hatsoff to u bro. My article was published in one Scopus journal, I checked before and after publication 2021 it's showing coverage years present, but after two months in the coverage they mentioned in Scopus like 2020. So my work was totally wasted. I raised query in Scopus they said can't do anything.contact editor. Editor no response. So many fake people and journals is there in the world.

Really helpful message. Sir I have a doubt..I have submitted my paper for publication in Scopus indexed journal. At the time of submission in july 2020,in Scopus source the coverage shown 2019 to present. I got acceptance for my paper from the publisher after one year i.e. 2 june 2021.Now in the journal, it shown the coverage year 2019 to present. But in the next line it shown (coverage discontinued in Scopus). What is the meaning of this? When searching about this issue in google, I came to know that it relates to publication concern. Now this paper will be indexed in Scopus or not?Shall I proceed further or withdraw my paper?
Interesting content. Perhaps talking slower and/or adding subtitles would be a good improvement since sometimes is quite difficult to follow.

If any journal is in web of science but not having category of SCI or ESCI then whether it is good to publish in that journal.
Two of my articles are removed from scopus which is already indexed in scopus. I'm supposed to submit my thesis. I'm waiting for the release of lockdown. Now my articles are removed. I don't know what to do.

Hi Sir! Your video is very helpful and informative. I am just starting my career in research. I have difficulty in publishing my first research article. I tried to submit in "The Journal of Phytopharmacology", shockingly my paper was accepted within a month after manuscript submission. Then, there is a processing fee of 70dollars. Is this a good or a bad thing? Still, I do not have ideas regarding on how to spot bogus journals or not. Your response would be a great deal for us young researchers. Thank you! More power
My personal opinion is that, kindly submit your research article to subject specific journal instead of generic journals because, cloned version of subject specific journals are less likely to appear. If you see, almost all cloned journals are generic journals (Not specific to any subjects)

Scopus website is not wrong but the scopus people should look into this types of issues and need to solve as early as possible

scopus website is showing coverage is only upto 2018, and discontinued ther after, but in scimago website same journal's coverage is upto 2020(scopus), which is correct, which is authentic?

Sir, in cases where the Scopus homepage is not directing to the journal page then what should we do? For example ISSN: 1671-5497 is one of the journals where the Scopus homepage is not redirecting to the journal homepage.

What I do I always mail to Scopus with every link when they ensure it within 2 days... yes it's there only then I go for it and still now I have published 2 papers in Scopus q2 without any difficulties and even though if my defence panel asked it's not in Scopus during my defence i can show them scopus letter that it was there during my publication...the best to way to be safe

Sir.. What about chinese journal of medical genetics... It shows in scopus list and still it is active.. But my paper is not indexed by scopus. Scopus reply was contact with the publisher, the article is not included in their authenticated data base.. Will it be a clone?

Sir, European Journal of molecular and clinical medicine journal discontinued from Scopus on February 2021. I published papers in this journal in Nov 2020 and indexed by Scopus and included in Scopus author page. But when I searched my Scopus author page it was removed. Wh They didn't provide the last coverage also. What to do sir?

Exactly this is happened with many researchers.. when journal is removed by scopus, it only considers till specific volumes and thereafter scopus has removed even indexed papers... this is really very sad and scopus should take it seriously and look into it

Sir same is in the case of a journal name as "Seybold Report" it is present in scopus but in UGC Care List of Clone journal this journal is mentioned.

Design Engineering (Toronto) is indexed in Scopus. But when we click to source homepage from scopus site, it redirects to fake journal site. And the original journal site haven't mentioned anything about publishing. Please Help sir.
I found a journal which was added to the scopus list in March 2021. However, when I search from sources on scopus I saw it was discontinued since 1978.

I published research paper in Solid State Technology ISSN: 0038-111X Scopus indexed journal in Oct 2020. This journal was active in Scopus sources list at that time. But now Scopus is showing that Scopus coverage years were upto 2017-18 only. My research paper has also not been included in Scopus master database. Why so ? My research paper has been rejected by the University. Any solution for this may be suggested.

In few universities Scopus publication is must for research degrees in those cases it needs to be considered and even in scopus also there are son many journals with excellent metrics

Please highlight on the stepwise checking of plagiarism by using TURNITIN from the student's point of view and from the instructor's point of view to monitor as well which student may not know. At the same time, how it can be very fast for editing by the student to make it very less similarity percentage as per TURNITIN report.
