Great job gentlemen. She sounds awesome! Don't know if it's me, but old trux sound so much better than today's modern trux. Keep up the great work men!
It is there it is just got the top taken off that holds the foot pedal itself the actual valve is still where it belongs all hooked up and it doesn’t leak any air
This thing needs to stay where it’s at it’s a rusty pile of crap. The amount of work it needs is wayyyyy more than what it’s worth. And you for sure have no idea what you are doing that’s for sure.
This truck is perfectly solid if I wanted a rusty piece of junk I would try to repair the cab on the 77 white western star that’s sitting off to the side of this auto car the cab is rusty enough I can stick my arm through it in many places. As for not knowing what I’m doing I also worked at a body shop and I know how to do bodywork it may not be my favorite thing but I know how to do it
Doesn't look too bad to me. Mainly small things like air leaks to fix and it could be roadworthy. I've seen a lot worse repaired and put back to work. Besides it sounds like it has some sentimental value.
Caged brakes on the front drive axle. Rear axle only has service brakes. Front axle has no brakes from the factory. You don’t need air bud you need to learn how trucks function and operate. You have NO PARKING BRAKES. If you move the truck it will probably roll away and I’d be sitting laughing my ass off saying told ya so
@@danokerr9929 I know more about trucks than you think I work in a truck yard fixing trucks this particular truck is one that I’m working on at home I have been around this particular truck all my life my dad drove it The front axle I was talking about was the front drive axle which is the only axle with Maxi cans the front axle as you said has no brakes and the rear axle has only service brakes

Jack Nicholson owns an autocar?
Front grill look like 2000' truck.
You can't build air without a foot valve installed.
It is there it is just got the top taken off that holds the foot pedal itself the actual valve is still where it belongs all hooked up and it doesn’t leak any air
Skip to 8:15 to bypass the B.S.

I got rid of my 2000 KW after I restored my 1982 long hood.No E log, no electronics.Lots better than new.
this guy isn’t much of a mechanic
Why do you say that
