  • 50 Cent put Donald Trump’s face on the iconic cover of his album "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" following an assassination attempt on the former president. The rapper displayed the edited image during his concert in Boston on Saturday night while performing the song "Many Men" from his 2003 debut album. In the altered cover, Trump’s face was photoshopped onto the shirtless, chiseled body of the 49-year-old hip hop star, standing behind glass that appeared to be fractured by a bullet. The track "Many Men" refers to 50 Cent's own near-death experience when he was shot nine times in Queens, New York in 2000. He performed the song as a nod to the shooting at Trump’s campaign rally on Saturday. The lyrics read, "Many men wish death upon me / Blood in my eye, dawg, and I can’t see / I’m tryin’ to be what I’m destined to be." He also posted a photo of the concert on social media, captioning it, "Trump gets shot and now I’m trending."
Donald Trump was nearly killed during a campaign rally on Saturday afternoon when 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, now deceased, fired five to seven bullets with an AR-style rifle. Crooks was killed by Secret Service snipers after firing the rounds. A bloodied Trump was rushed off the stage by Secret Service agents after his right ear was grazed by a bullet.Former Pennsylvania volunteer fire chief Corey Comperatore was killed during the assassination attempt while trying to protect his daughter.
