Arknights is a free-to-play tactical RPG/tower defense mobile game developed by Chinese developer Hypergryph. It was released in China on 1 May 2019, in other countries on 16 January 2020, and in Taiwan on 29 June 2020. Arknights is available on Android and iOS platforms and features gacha game mechanics

ya'll seem to have ended it mid statement.
started a new account in august. been playing for 4 years since march of the launch year. and it was nice. getting revenge on stages that caused me trouble first time thru. patriot in H-7-4 is just dumpstered by mylnar.
beating lungman in 5 days of starting a new account, could have done it sooner, its just my initial plan didn't work so i needed to raise more healing to survive post 350.
was hoping i could survive with just ansel, since I can at max levels and trust. but i needed to raise gummy and myrrh I think to manage it at 5 day level.
after playing the account for 2 months, it was amazing how little stages gave me actual trouble with the understanding that I have now of the game and its operators and stage mechanics.. with the kernal banner every 3 months, I can shop a core unit six star to fix my teams holes too.
so I can have a high level core team, without much issue just saving distinctions.
built up my team over the next 6 months and cleared everything. just making good decisions. mostly good decisions.

arknights is a single player so treat it that way!
Oh, Grani Skill is a beast she can almost solo almost any melee leader class
No one mentioned this yet so I gotta forewarn you. You don't actually have a choice in whether or not to invest in Amiya. The game will gate you out if you do not have E2 amiya at a certain point
Grani's unique niche of being a defensive Charger Vanguard can be incredibly useful, a big reason between her & Siege that pushed me to strongly focusing on Vanguard Operators when I started the game. Afterall "There are no bad operators, only bad Doctors" kinda comes from the amount of players that learned the operators inside & out and how they can be utilized. Refusing to give up on favoritism for beloved characters means having to adapt strategies around them, being able to do that's an amazing aspect about Arknights as a game.
