packing tip: you should put items together by category. for example; items that belong in the bathroom, pack those items together. office supplies should be pack together. snacks and gum should be packed together, items that you would find in the kitchen such as a tea kettle or Brita water filter should be pack together, tools and products for your hair should be packed together, makeup products and tools should be packed together, as well as feminine products and your travel emergency kit/toiletry bag should be packed together. so that way, when you are inside your dorm putting away your items were they belong would go a lot faster. also, put your clothes on your new hangers and packed them away on the hangers and when you are in your dorm room; ready to put your clothes in the closet, they are already on the hangers. Just a friendly college packing tip.
this video is entertaining actually but i seriously feel idk....panic? when i watch this lmao bc packing for college looks like endless😂😂 i really wonder how i will pack for college next year
this is the inspiration i needed to start packing for college!!! move in day is in about two weeks but i work until like 2 days before so i want to get everything out of the way :))))
I leave in a week and I'm literally sitting on my bed with a giant mess trying to figure out where to start😂 I got the clothes done now I got everything else
I move to college (out of state) in 1.5 months and oh my god I have no clue how I'm gonna fit stuff in my dorm cause that's changing from me having a huge walk-in closet to having a tiny wardrobe 😭
Hi! UCLA has been my dream college for a very long time, but I'm starting to lose hope after I've seen how selective their program is. Any tips on how to make the best impression? Grades? ACT/SAT? Volunteer work? Thanks!
Angela Thornburg I was just accepted to UCLA and Berkeley a few months ago and I have some advice! I honestly believe the most important aspects of your application are the personal statements and pursuing things you are truly passionate about! If your grades and test scores are up to par, the thing that will set you apart are the essays and activities. The admissions officers can see right through someone who bulks up their application with a ton of random extracurriculars that they aren't truly interested in. Focus on a few activities you are actually passionate about (and possibly related to your potential major!) and try to get leadership positions in those activities. Make those personal statements as personal, unique, and true as possible and you stand a great shot of being accepted :)
Angela Thornburg Kind adding onto the first comment here. Like they said, have extracurricular activities that you are passionate about and stick with them as long as possible; don't jump around to a bunch of stuff so that it looks like you did more. I have to two friends that got accepted into UCLA and they both had about 2 or 3 extracurricular activities that they stuck with all throughout high school and those really helped with applications and impressing UCLA. It's not just about your academics, although that is important. My school had two Valedictorians and one got accepted into UCLA (he also had 2 or 3 activities under his belt) whereas the other got wait listed because he wasn't involved or passionate about anything. He just jumped around to different stuff. Hopefully that all helps and makes sense 😊
i love this college for a 7th grader that lives in nyc but i think if it gives good education then it is worth it to go . Do they have any medical programs or classes?
Dang, I thought I packed a lot because I have two suitcases with clothes! Then I saw your bins and boxes and became relieved! Good luck to everyone, I move in in 8 days! 😭
Is it hard for u to get I into this college? Because I want to enrolled in this college after I finish my senior . And how did u enrolled into this college?
USC is University of Southern California (Private uni + UCLA's rival school) UCLA stands for University of California, Los Angeles (Public University + USC's rival).
hello to all those out there wondering about college I'm 15 going in to the 11th grade. I only say this (my age) so u can understand how hard for me in my city to find things like volunteering opportunities. Im just here to give you some real quick advise first of all if your having trouble looking for volunteer work you can always try your local library. I'm volunteering there (my local library) this summer since I was offered the opportunity to join the nhs (national honors society) . also for those wondering about scores on test most ivy league schools are looking for an sat score of 2100 or an act score of 30 Ap scores don't matter as much but they can help 4-5 to be exact and to get a 5 you need to have atleat 65% on the Ap test. other schools are locking for sat scores of at least 1500 and act scores of 20-36. as of right now I am studying for all those test so that I can get into a good college. so I hope some of these tips help if you have anymore questions I am willing to answer them for you.
I feel like I wont get into a good college. I've made A's and B's with like only 3 C's my whole school life. But my school let the teacher teach us the wrong math and everyone made a 2 on there end of grade testing... The school apologised but kept the grades and I wasn't aloud to go to summer school so my math eogs are all 3-4 with one 2 😭😭 3 and above is good and under is bad ;-;

My mofo dream school but I’m literally on the other side of the US and graduating at 16 doesn’t really allow me to go so far away
It's quite weird you're packing in boxes, I prefer a big suitcase instead of a ton of boxes :)
+CreativA REALLY?! I like boxes since I dont have that many suitcases
*vlog
I know this is like waaaaaay late but there are tic tac boxes that are the size of cereal boxes. Save them. They can be good for storing stuff.
