Actually, I was born in 1966 with memories of 1973 on (I was 7 years old),... I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1984, and have fond memories of listening to both, 70's & 80's music.
As a 31 year old I’m sitting here thinking man it’s wild to think people who grew up in the 80’s watching these videos had a good 15-25 years where they couldn’t watch these videos they grew up on till UA-cam came around..that must’ve been such a treat to rediscover so many childhood memories after decades.

The 80's were simply the BEST! No internet, no smart phones. Land lines and TOTP! 🥳🥳🥳. It's hard to describe to those born after, but I'd give up all this modern tech that we have today, if we could return to the 80's.
Tempos bons. Só quem viveu essa época sabe do que estou falando, muita saudade, fico até emocionado pois me tele transporto para aqueles bailes, festinha, curtindo essas músicas. Estava recém casado. curtir muito com minha esposa dançando essa e outras bandas. Hoje tá difícil, muito mimimi. Antigamente era mais sem frescuras. A vida tinha como hoje suas dificuldades mas seguia mais suave. Verdade que não tinha a tecnologia que tem hoje, senão nem estaria escrevendo esse comentário, não é? Gosto da atualidade, da modernidade, mas com um pé lá atrás pois não podemos renegar o que já vivemos. O que somos hoje foi forjado, moldado no passado. Essa geração que viveu esse tempo está aos poucos acabando, muitos já aposentados, alguns já se foram, outros com a saúde já fragilizada, outros ainda fortes e com saúde graças a DEUS. Agradeço todos os dias por fazer parte dessa geração. Muito grato mesmo. I was 15 years old and lucky enough to have been born in Europe.. They were simply the most amazing years. Move to the US in the late 80s, ok but nothing to write home about. Moved to England in late 90s and the party started once again. I love Europe and hopefully will never leave EVER again. The main thing is, I’m happy to have been an 80s child, what a decade.

I was 22 at that time,in South America . I really enjoyed going to the night clubs,every week, meeting people, having a lot of friends. Definitely, the 80s was the best time in my life. En la década de los 80's pasé de niño a adolescente, y cuando vuelvo a escuchar estas canciones, vuelvo a ser niño y adolescente, es algo impresionante la vitalidad que recobra mi cuerpo, mente y alma.
Está claro que sí. Escuchar estas canciones, para mí, que soy algo más joven que tú (soy de 1979 D.C.), es como volver a un sarcófago de Stargate: renaces cada vez, lavado de las preocupaciones de la vida cotidiana.
Cuando una música de determinada época su letra sólo puede ofrecer groserías, violencia y sexo, lamentablemente uno solo puede concluir que esa generación o esas generaciones están acabadas. Pasará eso actualmente con el regueton ?? Yo creo que sí, ya es una música de exterminio de principios y valores, que refleja la triste realidad de la juventud y de la no tan juventud actual, su ritmo es el mismo, su letra es la misma, su mensaje es el mismo, sus instrumentos musicales son los mismos, bueno no creo que usen muchos instrumentos musicales, pero si mucha electrónica. Lamentablemente, la juventud hoy en día sólo ve como ejemplos a los máximos exponentes regueton, cuyo único interés es sólo vender música basura.
