Im here for the piggy show!🐷🐷🐷 I just want to say thank you for your channel. I cant imagine your busy schedule and really appreciate this little entertaining escape on my weekends! Also Thank you piggy's!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the laughs my friends!!!!! Jay (my spouse) is cooking dinner and from the kitchen yells - what are you laughing at so hard---my reply - a pig walk... what??? ohhh you have to see... a cute chestnut has a crush on Dominic and they go for a walk in the woods... Jay comes looks at me and checks if I'm feeling ok ;-) Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
I was also having issues with pigs flipping the dish over! I ended up putting a flat 25lb weight one used for a bench press barbell in the bottom of the pan and now it never flips over and they lost interest in playing with it!. Hope this helps. Cheers from NS as well :)
Not a bad idea! Those plates aren't being used for anything else around here haha. I have a nipple waterer on a 50 gallon barrel I am going to get around to reusing one of these days
Oh my goodness, you have to keep that pig as part of the family!! She's the cutest!! How long do you keep them before butchering? How old should they be?
She is very cute! It depends on the breed but for these pigs we will keep them about 6 months (they'll be 7-8 months old). We could keep them longer and grow them bigger but we just don't have a setup for them when the snow comes.
Keep in mind we are the furthest things from experts, but generally pigs are butchered when it gets cold enough in the fall that you can hang them to get their temperature down. In terms of age you wouldn't go much longer that spring to November because at that point they aren't putting on weight at an economical rate to be worth the feed. -Dom
So cute!!!!! The escapee cried wee wee wee after the water bucket!!!!💜
Ahahahahaha she did!!

Haha they certainly do. He better behave himself!
Pigs are looking great. How hard is that wire hitting. That little pig seems like she had no fear of it.
It got me when I was kneeling on the ground 😅 I think it was up high enough that she could just run under it. I think we have her sorted for now.
It's at around 6.7k
I'm wondering if he was standing un the water dish and wasn't grounded through it... he has been a good pig ever since

I feel like, at 8 min in, I missed part of a bumble bee story.
You certainly missed an epic tale! I have the full version but tbh I just don't get it 🤣🤣
Are those meat chicks in the brooder?
They are! We actually processed the first batch this weekend. Those chicks were just put out on pasture yesterday.
Can you chase them again it was funny
Trying not to 🤣🤣
