This has been too long of a day! Why are you doing this now!? Give them back! Dragon: If you want them back, come and fight me. WD: (Takes a deep breath out.) Huh, for once I resisted the temptation to laugh so loud my whole family woke up. (Almost jinxes it by laughing during the outro by passes the saving throw again.) But how many times did you have to roll the saving throw to not laugh, Lapis? I can tell from the outro that you had the same problem for slightly different reasons. 🤣
Years later Royal child: patiently waits Knkght: dont fret your highness shell be here Scaley: arrives in spectacular fashion Royal child: scaley " runs immediately to hug her" Scaley: well well well its seems youve all grown up know your highness and tume has been kind yo you knight thought you seem ti be getting a but grey as of late Knight : " chuckles" well we all cant be look the same for decades happens to all of us scaley Scaley: " laughts in turn" so it would seems old friend The royal child is the sovering of their kingdom and knight has officially retired mainly captain of the royal guard and close confidant of the child not to mention her rivalry with scaley became a close friendship as time passed. The royal child became a reknowned kinght who proudly wore a silver dragon as his colors in honor of thier friend. Knowadays the 3 gather to meet up and spend time together reminicing of the past and catching up.
Wonderful little story about two unlikely friends with a surprising amount of depth. Though part of me now wants where the listener has grown to the point where their word is respected and they suggest to the knight and their kingdom that they join forces with this dragon to fight off the 'uncouth' ones.
