Honestly the proof of funds is no more bank statements . On the polish website its states 1. Travellers Cheque 2. Credit card certificates showing the minimum amount u can send 3. Bank account showing cash and that it has a branch in poland 4. Employment certificate showing salary slips as well. Personal bank account might be rejected

Yeah, embassies do that. Submit them and come back 2 weeks to pick them up.

If you have a scholarship from school, you don't need a sponsor.
Even if you have a sponsor, let there be like a million or 2 in your account.
And you will need to submit your sponsor's account statement as yours, too.
