Put the onion in the freezer for about 20 minutes before you cut it. You don't want to freeze it, just get it cold. It makes them virtually tear free to cut 💗

For your subbie supper this time, use a small amount (1/4 cup) of the pot liquor from the roast and add that to beef broth (to equal how much water you would use) to boil your potatoes in. Takes them to the next level.

We made the pot roast and the flavor was really good! However, for anyone concerned about the salt content you can easily adjust it. I didn’t add the celery salt or the truffle salt or any other additional salt. And I used water instead of beef broth. We still found it too salty near the end so I added an additional cup of water to it and it was perfect. We used the leftovers for beef sandwiches on onion buns topped with provolone cheese. We did the creamy garlic pork chops last weekend and saved the leftovers. We made biscuits the next morning and had biscuits and Garvey with thin slices of pork chop in them! It was so much better the next day! Try it-sounds weird but it’s so good!!!!!

    Hi Guys !!
I'm making the roast tomorrow ! I could almost smell it while you were cooking.
What kind of flooring do you guys have on your porch ? We have one similar that needs sprucing up and yours looks great !!

Would you have time or would consider making some videos around no or low carb/ no or low sugar?
Been on this diet and lost 55 lbs, but I can't try any of these lol.

All the recipes looked sooo yummy and simple for weeknights. I’m looking forward to trying the zucchini bake. That will be a great idea at to use some of the zucchinis in my garden this summer and veggies in my family. 😊
