When I figured out that the sample was Aphex Twin a couple years ago, I went to to listen to the rest of Drukqs expecting it to be as calm as Avril 14th. I was caught off guard but definitely not disappointed lmao

The tears, yells, smiles, and I left thinking to myself love's not a game of cards. I treated you like a queen and the king. You saw me as a 8 of spades trying be ace, but to me without you I wouldn't be a thing. you requested more room and space..spraying me in the eyes with a can of mace (emotionally)because the things I seen was so unclear. You're an angel how can you think I'd put you at the rear. I'm still blind sighted so the only I saw was the thing I felt which was the man in the mirror.
Hip hop music is built on sampling and as far as sampling goes, no song is untouchable as long as it is paid the respect it is due. Please bear this in mind when commenting.
I lay half awake in the middle of the dark, the TV was on but to wasted to hit start. The ground is hard and wet, from the panic attacks and the long nights of cold sweat. Or could be from all the tears I wept, I mightve remembered if I actually slept. The pain isn't even the worst it's the wasted time, I could've spent it all chasing now what isn't mine; cuz obviously all the effort for all the years, are just as vivid as all my fears. And one day the wound will heal, but never forget the feel
@paulbefc No they started mainstream rap, but it was only considered mainstream not because of the aspect of money but because it was now being played on major pop stations, and with a much wider and international audience, where as older hip hop was basically mix tapes. Actually Biggie and Pac where among the first rapper to successfully mix Rap and R&B. Commercial mainstream rap is when you're speaking about the rap industry, Mainstream rap simply means it's not contemporary rap! lol
listen, life isn’t what i thought it would be. The devil’s arms wrapped around me and I can’t think clearly. This henny got me going back to the old me. My vision got off track and i can’t see. Shit, i wish the devil would just let me be.... but it ain’t that easy. I was blessed with life but cursed by the knife, held by lucifer that night. lord of words i’m forever sworn to the lyrical sword.

@paulbefc Not that americans don't care about them but most European rappers don't rap in english, they rap in their native languages. Actually many American rappers have tried to help some of those european rappers to gain more attention in the american audience by doing collaboration con them. If you speak with many black americans are proud to see hip hop trancend color, trust me. Funny but Europe has more hip hop events than the US, in which many black americans themselves travel to compete
/ and I walked in, there I was just struttin my stuff/ not needing a homie’s help my ego helped me enough/ I knew it then, I should have seen, that the truth was in between/ every line that was written was riddled with flirty themes/ was spooked but didn’t scream “this can’t happen to me”/ looking back I should have known that the fact was we believed/we could live a lie, hoping our feelings died/ but they didn’t instead we sat back and allowed em to collide/
I'm falling apart and you'll only let me Pass the sadness only indirectly It's not your fault that I'm so unstable But blaming me only tends to make my brain ill So save the labor just find me something to fill the void Without that the castle crumbles and I grow annoyed Tired of all of this, surrounded with malevolence I guess it's the time of year I construct the most sentences
What’s the routine… that prevent blank screens… I adopt the never end theme, positive empowers me when I write clean. I am sky similar to the side effects derived, from ODin on morphine and trust they release is guaranteed regardless if they plead for what I create to decease , no choice thee addiction repeats the need grow to construct stories, reach farther than possibilities first believe, all just for more ideas, orgies of thoughts sprouted from these seeds
i'm just talking bout some stuff that you can hardly control when you've given somebody your whole body and soul Its all falled down, this love's taken its toll. Feel like I was all in, and you've just taken a fold. It aint a puzzle that my hearts in pieces We push and we're at war, and we forgot where peace is and Now we we have this love looking broke like ramen but we just let it BE, At least we got that in COMMON
(1:45) now tell me could you have ever forseen this in your wildest dream is this the life you ever expected to be reachin between me and mine i deem them the demons freed from the seed ulterior motives I just release this believing the worlds you leave me with, I'm just a fool but i dont need a thesis, the evidence is flawless there isnt a sheet that doesnt resemble my jaw zipped i dont peep a work but the look in my eyes is just speech that doesnt need to be heard, turn and walk alone
@paulbefc Dude don't say that Em isn't recognized because he's white.....Em himself acknowledged his success due to the love and connection he got from the black community, when at that time he was rejected and rediculed by whites....em is loved within the black community that you won't imagine...its only as he became famous that the white community started accepting him, he said it himself. They only like him because he looks like them but they don't really care about his lyrics
and now we’re strangled: yes, this love is a tangled mess/ but it’s you who I come to when I feel that all of the stress/ is too much for me to bear, beware: I do confess/ with or without you in my life I realize that l have less/ I can feel you now when I close my/ eyes and I don’t know why/ you’re the only one who makes me feel like I’m alive I/ feel like we’re burning up like a rock thrown in some lava/ gotcha, we can’t be friends but don’t act like I can’t be nada/
We dont have to go to the dark places, we dont have to go back, sitting in the flats smoking your brothers crack These niggas got nothing on us,we can be where we wanna be Just shut away your nightmares in reality. Behind closed doors, my hearts always open. Dont take me for a ride, dont give me no token, I aint yeezy but I can show ya how it is, go back to the corner where we had our first kiss
let's point fingers, when no one's accepting responsibility/constant fights and arguments, slowly but surely killin' me,/you was slowly but surely, feelin' me, when i was drillin' thee,/instead of straight forward, you indirect as a simile,/ silly me, i was fallin', harder than Alicia,/i was lost in whispers of the wind, amnesia/ya' heart, i thought i need ya', the love that i would feed ya'/ya' tossed in the trash, and blasted wit' the heater,/
@paulbefc Dude but he's speaking about his Career, that's a difference. Most of those rappers today are pop stars who get caught up in money etc (the industry)! and there's no denial there. Soulja boy? LOL , Lil wayne is a pop artist? etc etc etc
/ a lot of people think I rap is because it’s just for fun/ but when it’s said and done I feel like I’m the lonely one/ I roll myself into a heated flow and then I come undone/ I’m splurging with the ink.. as I begin to think/ it drives me nuts but fuck it I’m way past the brink/ the point of no return.. is where we went and burned/ man fuck this lesson this is one that I don’t wanna learn/
im reminiscent/ in the distance/ i hear the snakes hiss, serious business/ this isnt fiction/ the mighty zues or the devils image/ forget religion/ just take the picture for what its worth/ and if it hurts/ thats when blessings occurs/
@paulbefc So you want Eminem to get same legendary status as Biggie and 2pac....ok i'll take your word for it......could you explain to me why do you thing that Eminem deserves hip hop legendary status as Biggie or Pac, could you tell me in what way did he influence rap or Hip Hop culture that he deserves that status? .....(without mentioning Awards or record sales, which really isn't important in hip hop culture-even soulja boy and t-pain gets high sales and awards)....
in the beginning of time, there was a moment up there, where, whoevers up stairs, had a hope and a prayer, that the choice we declare, would not open the lair, but we have chosen dispair, we sit here holdin our hair..... and rockin to the kick drum, its the rythem, excuse me ahumm its the spittums, cuz son, when i click gums, it flip the strum of the, violen and leave em pile in in the pile of oil skins,
one of the best instrumentals i've ever heard

Let's play the Blame, Game, I Love it.
A huge fan of both Kanye and the Aphex. This one brings tears.
‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’
An artistic masterpiece of an album that tells a story about the beauty and dangers of fame and love presented in amazing ways with extremely realistic musical elements with pianos and orchestral sounds, and amazing usage of sampling small elements of some know/unknown 1960’s, 1970’s & early 1980’s old school songs to make something completely original. Also extraordinary mature subject matter used very well lyrically throughout the album. Whether you like Kanye or not this thing is thing is a masterpiece that won’t be forgotten.
u can actually rap this comment well done

One of the most beautifully mastered beats ever!
THIS SONG HAS SOOO MUCH SWAG.
Your comment should be put in the Library of Congress for cultural significance.

Or how it felt to let it snow and let the cold hold me like a baby
Yet to be told how to say “save me”
Or to treat ladies right and breathe easy at night
I was just a newborn light
Eyes wide under the lids
Then I grew into a kid
Thirsting wisdom without the experience
Eager and delirious, underneath the carefree
I was completely serious about being free
I wanted to pack my bags and leave
Find a nice place to sleep in the adulthood
And there I stood, while my mother uttered the words I never understood
“I live for your life”
It cut deep like a knife
And never left so as I grew it’d seep in like a bite
Fighting my young mind
Deducing the confusing 5 words
And then it occurs to me, at the age of fifteen
The objective is not to be seen
But to see, with a naked mindset
Because beneath the eyes is the mind’s nest
Where the egg rests in the noggin with a fragile shell
If you filter the light, you’re fighting hell in a bottomless well
But before you kick the water bucket
You better grip the rope and tug it
Because at the top is an army for the tug of war
Fighting For the rich, the poor
For Those who need one stitch and those who need four hundred
An abundance to the rescue
So You, don’t need a pot to piss in
Or a rope and chair to give in
only a lot of ears to listen to all your tears drop
So hold the rope and let them pull you to the top
And live the life you were blessed with
don’t worry, an exit always exists
You can Ask your elders,a friend or this kid
He’ll tell you open your lids
And follow the light in the distance
Born from a lucid view of your existence

If you speak with many black americans are proud to see hip hop trancend color, trust me. Funny but Europe has more hip hop events than the US, in which many black americans themselves travel to compete
@purplehaze165 That right there is HARD! dude, get in the booth and record it!
I'm falling apart and you'll only let me
Pass the sadness only indirectly
It's not your fault that I'm so unstable
But blaming me only tends to make my brain ill
So save the labor just find me something to fill the void
Without that the castle crumbles and I grow annoyed
Tired of all of this, surrounded with malevolence
I guess it's the time of year I construct the most sentences
What’s the routine… that prevent blank screens… I adopt the never end theme, positive empowers me when I write clean. I am sky similar to the side effects derived, from ODin on morphine and trust they release is guaranteed regardless if they plead for what I create to decease , no choice thee addiction repeats the need grow to construct stories, reach farther than possibilities first believe, all just for more ideas, orgies of thoughts sprouted from these seeds
i'm just talking bout some stuff that you can hardly control
when you've given somebody your whole body and soul
Its all falled down, this love's taken its toll.
Feel like I was all in, and you've just taken a fold.
It aint a puzzle that my hearts in pieces
We push and we're at war,
and we forgot where peace is
and Now we we have this love
looking broke like ramen
but we just let it BE,
At least we got that in COMMON
@D3TOSS So you're saying Aphex Twin doesn't have his own ideas?
APHEX TWIN SAMPLEE WOOT!!
and now we’re strangled: yes, this love is a tangled mess/ but it’s you who I come to when I feel that all of the stress/ is too much for me to bear, beware: I do confess/ with or without you in my life I realize that l have less/
I can feel you now when I close my/ eyes and I don’t know why/ you’re the only one who makes me feel like I’m alive I/ feel like we’re burning up like a rock thrown in some lava/ gotcha, we can’t be friends but don’t act like I can’t be nada/
We dont have to go to the dark places, we dont have to go back,
sitting in the flats smoking your brothers crack
These niggas got nothing on us,we can be where we wanna be
Just shut away your nightmares in reality.
Behind closed doors, my hearts always open.
Dont take me for a ride, dont give me no token,
I aint yeezy but I can show ya how it is,
go back to the corner where we had our first kiss
let's point fingers, when no one's accepting responsibility/constant fights and arguments, slowly but surely killin' me,/you was slowly but surely, feelin' me, when i was drillin' thee,/instead of straight forward, you indirect as a simile,/
silly me, i was fallin', harder than Alicia,/i was lost in whispers of the wind, amnesia/ya' heart, i thought i need ya', the love that i would feed ya'/ya' tossed in the trash, and blasted wit' the heater,/
@paulbefc Dude but he's speaking about his Career, that's a difference. Most of those rappers today are pop stars who get caught up in money etc (the industry)! and there's no denial there. Soulja boy? LOL , Lil wayne is a pop artist? etc etc etc
@TheRealDealTeck thx man
Good job! Sound similar.
@ToneMackdaBeast313 thanx sweetie
broooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i thought i was the only one who knew
ima rap nicely to this !!!
REAL J
thats weird i wrote lyrics similar to this almost exactly on a different instramental on my old account.... did u steal it or was it coimsidecnce?
im reminiscent/
in the distance/
i hear the snakes hiss, serious business/
this isnt fiction/
the mighty zues or the devils image/
forget religion/
just take the picture for what its worth/
and if it hurts/
thats when blessings occurs/
@paulbefc So you want Eminem to get same legendary status as Biggie and 2pac....ok i'll take your word for it......could you explain to me why do you thing that Eminem deserves hip hop legendary status as Biggie or Pac, could you tell me in what way did he influence rap or Hip Hop culture that he deserves that status?
.....(without mentioning Awards or record sales, which really isn't important in hip hop culture-even soulja boy and t-pain gets high sales and awards)....
@SuperAwesomeSC Thats why they type ...
Yoooo nice but can I get the instrumental with hook? Lemme know guys if it's there is one
in the beginning of time, there was a moment up there, where, whoevers up stairs, had a hope and a prayer, that the choice we declare, would not open the lair, but we have chosen dispair, we sit here holdin our hair..... and rockin to the kick drum, its the rythem, excuse me ahumm its the spittums, cuz son, when i click gums, it flip the strum of the, violen and leave em pile in in the pile of oil skins,
