This weekend my son cried so hard because his pediatrician retracted his skin so hard, and it became irritated (pink or reddish) on the following day when I gave him a shower. Something told that such pain was unnatural. No more forcibly retracting skin!
Thank you for posting this video.

Too late. The damage was done when the pediatrician pulled back the skin. Obviously, you can't trust medical professionals with your children's genitals because they also recommended circumcising your son. For the next son, make sure that no medical professionals touch you baby's penis, even if that means physically hitting the doctor to protect your child. All the medical professionals need to do is take a look. They don't need to handle the boys penis unless, perhaps in such a case as the urine is coming out of the wrong place, or if you discover some other abnormality.

It may not be too late to sue the doctor for malpractice, highlighting the suffering your son did, and may suffer for the rest of his life. I'm not a fan of willy-nilly get rich lawsuits. However, nothing gets people's attention like a lawsuit with a large punative settlement. Your son may well deserve the damages and a trust set up for him might be a way to redirect the typical 'they just want to get rich' attitudes of many people. He IS the person who deserves to be compensated for damages. You deserve legal fees and compensation for the angst it caused you.
A lawyer named Ron Goldman published a book titled 'Circumcision is fraud'. In it are strong medical, moral, and legal theories that circumcision in America IS fraud perpetrated by the American medical establishment. I can't locate my copy at the moment. You might find this book in a library and see if such suits have already been made. If not, it could be worth your time to contact Goldman and ask him. He may be able to refer you to a good attorney willing to take the case pro-bono if you can't afford it. A case could be brought under your boy's first initial, so it could be very private.
Sadly, the issue of medical practitioners forcibly retracting boys' foreskins is remarkably common. You would think when a baby boy starts screaming in pain as the medical professional forcibly retracting the foreskin would know to stop what they're doing. Most boys are appropriately 'private' about their foreskins and he may suffer from problems in silence for the rest of his life. Your son deserves to know what happened (at an appropriate age), and he deserves to be compensated for maladies he may suffer because of the forced retraction. Sadly, it is VERY common for medical practitioners to forcibly retract the foreskin suggesting it needs to be cleaned. It doesn't need to be cleaned. This is the sad state of the American medical education system failing to teach medical professionals about the foreskin and how to treat it properly, which is usually to leave it the hell alone.

@Noizpunk138 - Do you mean that you try to pull it back and it won't? I wouldn't worry too much right now since you're still developing. Some foreskins don't come back untill puberty is complete, and some men live happily with foreskin that doesn't come back at all. If you want you can gently pull it to the extent that it will retract each time you use the toilet or shower. This will gradually help it expand. Gentle tension only, not to the point of pain.

I feel awful!💔 I took my 2 month old to his pediatrician for his checkup, she told me to remove his diaper so she could check him And before I could even say anything she forced his skin back causing it to tear and bleed Now every time he pees he cries uncontrollably. I feel so bad for him She told me I had to force his skin back for every diaper change, That it would hurt him But had to be done. Unless I wanted to get him circumcised. It's 2017! How are these people not educated by now. 😡 My baby is getting a new pediatric ASAP. Is there anything I can do to help my baby after what happened?😔

WRONG!!!! I was told 3 different things and was told similar in one of those three times.... NO. The only one that should pull back the skin, is the owner of the skin, but you can, during bath time, encourage playing with the skin(the warm water will relax the muscle and skin for it to naturally retract. But cleaning wise, all you have to do is clean it like your finger: get in the folds and an exterior wipe.

Nobody can know without training and looking at it. You should get him to a pediatrician to check. For the benefit of anybody with a babe whose foreskin retracts significantly, be sure the Pediatrician knows not to retract it. A questions such as 'should I pull it back?' should elicit a very strong 'no' answer. If it doesn't, look for a different Pediatrician.

what should my friend do? he used to be able to retract his foreskin but now he can only partially pull it back (he's 12 now) so wat should he do because he's scared and doesn't want to be circumsized and he's to scared to show the doctor or even tell his parents

I saw a video where a guys stuff got stuck and he showed how to get the skin unstuck. He held his stuff over a sink(can be done in bathtub/shower) , had some kind of instrument to squirt warm/hot water with soap to help loosen the skin. Be very gentle when doing this..also look up how to get my foreskin unstuck or something like that. I can't remember the name of the video on UA-cam but yeah.

What if ur an adult and you cant retract ur forekskin fully?

    • @jibberscrabst1114

See a doctor. If a doctor says you should circumcise, RUN! Find a different doctor. It's not unheard of for boys not to be able to fully retract until their mid-teens. If there is a problem, a steroidal cream or ointment such as triamcinalone and gentle stretching will promote skin growth. This is the same if a boy's foreskin is too tight and difficult to pull back (phimosis). Phimosis is usually easily treated as described. Balanitis is uncommon and is often the result of things like premature retraction.
I am not a Doctor! However, I am confident in this. If everything is ok, there is no swelling or redness, or pus, and you are still in your teens, you can try using hydrocortisone cream and gently stretching the foreskin a little bit each day. As the foreskin becomes retractible, small white 'pearls' of skin may be present. That is normal and no cause for alarm. If it doesn't resolve in a month or so, see a doctor.
There is also a website, Doctors Opossing Circumcision, that can provide much more information.

You should start retracting from an early age it helps prevent them getting phimosis when they are older .Just start by retracting a little bit at a time do not force it back, over a period of time it will stretch enough to allow full retraction. learned that with my four sons the two youngest have had problems as we did what the doctors now say and done nothing just washed the outside the older two we started genital retraction from about 6 months of age and they where fully retractable by the time they started school. The two youngest have both had to have surgery to stretch there foreskin in their late teens as they developed Phimosis. So please if you have an uncircumcised baby just start gentle retraction each bath time it may save them having to go a painful procedure when they are teenagers.

But doctors would say to retract the foreskin on little boys to clean but if the foreskin is retracted it is going to infect their foreskin, to clean it ought to be simple without having to retract the foreskin all the way. If a parent, doctor or anybody wants to retract a little boys foreskin it will still be force retractions because somebody else is trying to retract the boys foreskin. It has to be the boy himself to learn how to retract his foreskin as he grows older to adolescent.

I think the boy should be the only one to do any gentle stretching. He can be encouraged, but only he knows when it starts to hurt. When he's still in diapers, the foreskin provides protection and should be left alone unless a doctor says otherwise. If a doctor suggests circumcision you should seek a second opinion, and make sure the doctors are taking an approach where circumcision is the last resort, not the first.
