@The713Sonic it's not to sell right away when you buy something like jewelry you can avoid inflation by doing so when you buy an item the price will stay the same and the price could even increase, but if that money sits in a bank account not gaing value then it loses value because of inflation. Think like this $2000 dollars now could be equal to $1000 dollars 20-30 years from now, but a piece of jewelry will stay the same price if you bought it for $2000 then it will stay $2000 unless the materials it's made out of get cheeper, or if the ring gets damaged then it should stay the same price of corse this is exaggerated inflation does not happen that fast, but the impact it would have would still be noticeable. George is saying this because he wants to make sure they don't get fucked over by inflation or if they have to sell them if they need some quick cash it's more of a safety belt for them to make sure they don't lose everything.
