Chemo curls
Chemo curls happen because of the process changing the structure and DNA of her hair. Usually it’s a permanent change too. - It’s not “natural”, as it’s caused by the procedure (it happens commonly enough with heavy medication of all kinds though! Not just chemo) but she is beautiful.

I am SO glad she survived. Its crazy what chemo can do to your hair. My father went through chemo and his hair was still black and streight, but his beard was white. Stay brave girl!

That’s the best attitude during cancer I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen plenty. I survived breast cancer, eight years ago, trying to make it forever. I know she will live a long, happy life. My hair was red and fairly straight and it came back in white and curly, now it’s kind of blonde. 73 and counting.

You’re so brave I had cancer three times and it is not an easy thing to cut your hair off. I had the most curly ringlets and it was so hard for me to get rid of them but you come back and you come back stronger . And you fight it. you gotta never give up you just got to keep going no matter what other people say!❤❤❤❤

I always find it interesting how chemo changes your hair. My middle school teacher had cancer and got chemo for it, (she’s cancer free now, btw!) and her hair grew back STRAIGHT UP PINK. Like it was 100% pink, and it looked so cool. It was a honeyish blonde before the treatment

She is the bravest girl I’ve ever seen going through cancer. I’m so happy she’s alive. Energetic and completely fine. The fact that she has to go through chemo a lot of people don’t react to this well.
she actually didn’t have cancer! she had a bone marrow disease that basically meant her own bone marrow wasn’t right for her? idk but she had a bone marrow transplant after chemo and is fully healthy now! a full head of curly hair and a brand new baby brother, too!

It’s extremely common for hair texture and color to change bc of chemotherapy. After, most patients have thinner or thicker, darker or lighter, whatever was opposite to them. She shows that she survived, and not only that but she thrived. She was such a beautiful and sweet girl through it all and I know mom had the biggest part in that.

Idk what place she went to but I am super happy she stayed happy throughout her cancer and still enjoyed herself even thought she had cancer and when I saw her hair grew back.
