I believe this too. Sometimes bad things happen. How you come out of it is up to you. You can either give up or stand up. You chose to accept God's will and you have gone from strength to strength. I think of these things like putting in a new flower bed. You have to destroy the old bed before you can create a new one and then you just wait for the beautiful blooms to appear. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Mary, you are such an inspiration to me. Back in the day, when I was 40 or so I could move around and get so much done. Now, nearly 70, not so much or as fast, but I keep going. :)What I really love is your creativity and how you can "see" something in "trash" and turn it into something beautiful. May God continue to bless you and your family. BTW the candle I received is wonderful!
Juanita, you took the words right out of my thoughts. I too used to be able to work like Mary, but illness and age changes you. She's a joy to watch because we can share in her dreams and watch them come true like ours once did.
I hear you on that. I used to work like her. Now it seems it takes me twice as long to do half as much. Have to just keep trudging along. :)

@@larabellg8425 My kitty has always been an indoor kitty. What you can do to help them feel more secure when outside is get a dog kennel, a good size that they can walk around in but still feel safe. That way when you are outside they can be there too and be protected. You wouldn't have to worry either. Have some of there toys in the wire kennel so it has familiar smells etc. And when your done outside just carry them back in the house!! 😻😍🙏💕

Love your White Cottage showroom. Years ago when I started my flower, herb and garden business I researched rental stores and expenses and my husband and I decided to tear down our then garage and replaced it with an oversized garage/barn with my studio as a store. It is so much more cost efficient to have something on your own property. AND when I retired the business years later the building made the property more valuable. I think you've made a very wise choice and it's so much better than traveling and setting up each venue individually. Mary, I love your dreams and your style. You've taught me so much. And now at 72 I've begun painting furniture and accessories as a hobby. Thank you for the inspiration.
What a beautiful job! Watching you work as a family really makes me miss my sons. They took care of a lot of the yard work for us, and now they are married with their own families and homes. Now all the work keeps us very busy!

Have been watching you a lot lately. I've been active all my life. Love to sew. Have done upholstery and some furniture re furnishing but have not known how to sell my items. You are an inspiration. Have been in a slump lately. I'm 78 and still active. I care for my husband who has dementia. It is difficult but watching you and the many things you do and your spirituality is truly inspiring and a big motivation to me. Thank you

Once again Mary, you with some help from your family have turned your store building, which I thought looked fine at the beginning of the video, into something I know a lot of people including myself would love to live in. My father in law always told me that something good always comes with something bad. This is a perfect example of that. I know you were devastated when the storm blew in but just look what you have now! A beautiful space in a beautiful space and you don’t have to pack it all up and set it up,then pack it all up and take it back home. The Lord has blessed you and will continue to bless you. BTW watching you digging those holes and pushing that wheelbarrow up that drive had me completely worn out!

Mary, you are amazing and one of the hardest working women I know. I have a dear friend who loves your channel as well. Her dream is to have her own shop on her property in the country. We live in Illinois and she is another amazing and hard working woman as well. She and her husband tore a barn down years ago and rebuilt it. She is an amazing decorator. I keep telling her I should send her story and home into country living. She also is an amazing gardener and cook and very creative like you. Her husband got ill with a serious infection years ago and had to have both legs cut off just below the knee and both his hands. He uses a hook on one and has a bit of his thumb left on his other hand. He still cuts wood and does many things. They never complain and are the most amazing people. We would love to meet you. I love to decorate farmhouse as well but have dark woodwork so I am little hindered a bit. You so inspire me and my friend Bev. We are both Christians and I was thinking as I do often when I see your Bible verses etc. how you bring glory to the Lord and are not ashamed to share your faith. You are one of our favorites and I have shared your channel with others. Thank you for all you do. Maybe one day Bev and I can come to your shop. If you think of it would you pray that one day Bev's dream of her own shop would become a reality. She already has started on the building but had to stop when she had to care for her mom this past year. Her mom went home to be with the Lord a few months ago. One suggestion for the doors, since you're going to be keeping them for awhile. Paint them black to compliment the trim, or install faux mullions and paint the trim around the glass black to make the doors pop.
