We stayed at a hot spring ryokan that is just 5 minutes away from the station.

Hi, i'm going to stay there in November, how was the kaiseki dinner? Is it good?
And the public hotspring seems very small, do a lot of people using? Recommended?

we personally find it good but not breathtaking. but then again it's personal preference. in japan, most of the food there are cooked maintaining their natural flavours and we like that very much.
the hotsprings are not small :) we didnt have issue with needing to wait for any private onsen rooms. the clips shown in the video are only for the private onsens. we are unable to take any public onsen videos for privacy reasons. the public onsens would of course be way bigger ;)

Hi! ¿Are the onsens outside the room available for private use?

there are 2 types of onsens at this ryokan. private and public ones. there are no extra charges for the private onsens. the price is already included in your ryokan stay :)

Is there a difference between the bath in the room and the other onsens?

I think the main difference is whether you prefer to have your own personal space for a soak. If you’re there for the experience hen I suggest going to the public bath instead. Honestly the room is just a resting place :)
