    corey had a hard life, and you all know it. sometimes people aren’t able to cope and turn to harmful things to try help themselves. corey was an amazing, caring, loving and talented person. don’t strip that away from him just because he used drugs. he was more than that.

      Amen!!! So many people are so quick to pass judgement, but I'd like to see how they'd prevail being thrown to wolves as a child. Like this poor kid never even had a chance to discover who he truly was, he never even got a chance to develop before he had his innocence stolen from him. His story is so sad:(

      Exactly.. Unfortunately there's people out there that see the drug use and nothing else.. That didn't define him and he had a hell of alot more to him than drugs..most who have a drug addiction are self medicating for trauma and mental health issues.. Poor guy.. He was abused and raped from such a young child. x

      Tommy Gunz I hate this argument. Unless you can prove he was forced to act, its absurd.

    • @AlzaitonA
      @AlzaitonA 7 років тому +10

      They basically robbed his whole life. It's really sad cuz he was a beautiful soul surrounded by ruthless vultures including fake best friend Corey Feldman who keeps using his name till this day.

    • @davidfontenot5223
      @davidfontenot5223 7 років тому +2

      AlzaitonA I agree with a lot of this argument, but still no one forced him to act! If he was abused its horribble! But who made him become and remain an actor? He was begging for roles in the end. He was a great actor because he loved doing it. I hope his abusers are unmasked and punished.

    • @AlzaitonA
      @AlzaitonA 7 років тому +5

      David Green we can't judge him for that cuz that's the only thing he grew up doing since the age of 13. so it's really hard to try something new especially that he received a lot of praise from fans that really adored him. That was the mother or parent's role to guide him early on not just let him act on his own when he was just a teen. Plus due to the abuse it must have been harder for him to start all over again doing something new. He was battling his own demons.

    • @davidfontenot5223
      @davidfontenot5223 7 років тому

      AlzaitonA He wanted to act! He had the money to walk away. Jeez! He had money and could have stopped anytime. Plenty of child STAR actors walked away while everyone wanted them to continue and jobs were plenty.

    Great interview! I don't know if he was on something during this interview,but my conclusion is that Haim was brought up in a horrible situation. He was molested as a child which led to drug addiction and he was hanging around the wrong people. Hollywood basically chewed him up and spit him out unfortunately. Even after their reality show, you could tell Haim was ready to work again, but everybody including Feldman was negative towards him and nobody gave him a chance. He needed REAL friends.

    I love this interview he actually said a lot of great stuff during the 9 min. He said himself he was 2 weeks sober, he would’ve been going through some major withdrawals hence he’s nervousness and jitteriness. He was naturally hyper anyway. Got to give him credit for doing this interview 2 weeks after giving up the drugs he was on at the time (cocaine and crack). He was going through rehab from 17 to 19 and later on too. He got addicted to pills from rehab so I’m thinking at the time of this interview he hadn’t hit the pills yet. God bless his soul he was always so honest and humble. His horrible pimp mom let him down as did ALL the adults around him. Of course the abuse caused his drug use. There is always a reason behind it...it's a real mental health disease. Such a great guy to lose so early. I hope Charlie Sheen and his other abusers get the worse in hell. Him making that little book broke my heart 💔 Reminded me that he's just a baby😔 It's easy to forget how young he was going through some major, major shit. Lots of people talk shit, but if you had every person in your life pushing and pulling you in every direction and being just a damn kid on top of it. I couldn't imagine being in his shoes. All them disgusting predators taking advantage of his innocence and trust. Fug ;-; Ugh, poor Corey. He was too good for Hollywood.

    Never see a teen star interview like this today as everyone has publicists and managers that only permit them to say tame shit promoting something....Corey talked about drugs...even said his chat line drug advice was bullshit as he was high when giving it....Corey Haim was a real guy....even at this young age...todays stars lie to protect their career....damn I wish we could have seen him mature into a real adult actor.

    Corey was the SWEETEST guy! Really! he had no ability to take his hurt out on other people so he took it out on himself. He was really good guy, especially for being in the business so young without parents who monitored anything he did.

    There is no hard reason why someone becomes an addict and when you speak about sobriety you can tell he knows what is wrong and right. I did! Its harder than it looks to stay sober especially in that industry everyone wanting you to live up to your Persona. The feed off your image! I have so much respect and deep sadness For Corey Haim! Drug addiction does not discriminate Good person bad person famous person poor person all races genders. In this interview there has been speculation that he was high. Either way on National television in the 80;s man telling everyone he had a problem! Bravo!

      He's definitely not high here not on coke or herion anyway trust me I would know. He said he was clean for 2 weeks when you're freshly clean your mind is still crazily out of wack and anxiety is through the roof the last thing you wanna do is go out in public especially on tv thats nuts that's why he's all figity and nervous. I heard shortly after he got back on but def not here
