I loved the pre-ride video. I remember when most of the people would openly laugh when she picked the crash "surprise" test. In the last few years I went on it, no one reacted as much or seemed to care.
THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!! I have been on both Test Tracks, and they were both incredible. Now sure, to me I like the new one a little better. Come on. Face it. The new one has incredible music and it's following Epcot's code: Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow. Just do everyone a favor; stop being two and stop giving 2.0 so much hate. (If you watch 2.0s opening, you can clearly see that Mickey Mouse is super excited.)
Well of course Mickey Mouse is excited, he's always open to new ideas. But others people like myself miss the original Test Track. While I will admit it does fit the theme of the park more, the original had more of a personality to it.
awww this was my faveortire ride at disney world! it was my very first "roller coaster" ever! I went here 3 years ago when I was 10. It was the best trip of my life(: and i loved this ride because of the hot/cold rooms.... don't ask why hahaha.
as season pass holders and living 20 mins away, id personally say its not worth it at all. I just wana do the ride and lately the wait has been well over 1 1/2 hrs to 2 hours for it and both it and Soarins fast passes are always sold out early. Very strange how busy its been lately.
This ride has totally changed everyone, this is not the new one. You now design your own car and it shows how you would have placed after each test and then an over all score at the end. Most of the stuff in there is now gone, cold/heat etc. Still takes over an hour to get on it at any time though, so make sure you guys use the Fast pass as soon as you walk in. OH and dont forget the soaring pass, its almost always sold out!
When the people went out of the car you were going into, the big guy looked like mauro and his little girl! They were in Disney land about this time. You might of met someone famous x

Just rode the new one ...... the old one (this one) was way better. The design your own car made zero sense & the indoor portion of the new one sucked. It did feel like it went way faster (even though it probably didn't). Still a cool ride.
The only explanation I can think of for the overhaul the ride got in 2012 is that GM lowered the amount they were paying for the ride, so Disney punished them by ruining it and slapping Chevy badges everywhere they could fit them.
Next time I got to disneyworld which will be a long time from now, I will miss this because Last time I went (to long ago) The original TT was still being used (I even went before the mission to mars ride incident happened)
Same mission space I mean I've been before and after than and have been on 2.0 but I'm still scared to go on mission space sines that kid died I do it but it's just scary to think that could happen to anyone at anytime

this was updated in 2012, I think they know I love futuristic stuff and this right here is my favorite ride honestly 100%
The recent update for test track looks cool, but the original is what make this ride awesome.
My favorite part is when the ride goes outside on the test track.....the breeze feels so good. Can't wait for them to re-open!!

I like the "subtle" advertising throughout that ride.

I went and rode this when I was 4 and lived it. I just recently returned to Disney now being thirteen and did not experience the ride I once adored.

I'm a CM at Space Mountain Disneyland and I ride Soarin all the time. I only like Over California though

To all the haters of the New Test Track. Do you even know what EPCOT stands for? If you did you would see the new TT makes WAY more sense.
