Thanks for the upload. Gonna do this hike for my birthday
Thanks so much we did this route with my two kids and had an amazing time. An absolute gem of a trip.
Really enjoyed your video. What stunning scenery. What a place to wake up in the morning.
Great video mate. I done Pen y Fan during my platoon sergeants battle course. No sleep for 3 days then we tackled it. Was blacking out going up it. Hardest thing i’v ever done in my life but well worth it
What a great video! Going to go up there. Looks like your channel's new? Going to watch as it grows as I'm sure it will. Good stuff!!
Must be a new channel. Cracking filming and general production, sound quality was decent enough other than some windy sections. Really well done
Cracking. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Great video and really well put together. Thanks for sharing and calling out LNT.
Great video, absolutely stunning views
Great spot amazing views be checking that out cheers for film 👍
I just subscribed. Great stuff! I'll put these on my bucket list of climbs. The way your subtitle software translates the Welsh names makes me laugh!
Low round tents cope with the wind up there,a good camp site plenty of fresh air great views .living the dream.
Cracking vid, been looking for suggestions for the beacons. Love it!
That first little valley is lovely I've been up there quite a bit. I've got that same tent too and had that exact lamb rogan josh last night too lol
Tents a quality bit of kit, especially for the price. How does it far in the winter months?
@@ohwhataknight I find it warms up pretty quick as its so compact in there stands up surprisingly well in the wind too considering its just one pole
Well filmed and edited! Worthy of more than 807 views in 2 months! Look forward to more.
Thanks for the kind words. There's plenty more on the way I just need to speed up my editing workflow!
Excellent video mate 👌🍺
Great video and editing mate. New sub 👍🤙
great video
An amazing video mate! Camping in that exact place Thursday night! Hope I get as lucky as you weather wise!!
Thank you, we did most of this :) going back for more.
Really loved the vid - thank you. Hoping to be there this w/e
Hi Chris... I just bumped to your channel and straight subscribed. Great production, I watched 4 waterfalls as well, like how detail you take us on path so I have now exact idea how it looks there.
Im planning do this route soon. I have injury on my back so I can't currently carry backpack. I found solution with trolley to pull behind me, I know sounds crazy but I can't give up hiking and wild camping. I would like to ask you if there is on this route any scramble which possibly won't be managable with trolley. Like pro climb where I won't be able to pull it up and need both hands. I know sometimes this peaks has little surpising bits of scramble. Many thanks. Lucy
That’s an incredible filming , going to get my husband David to take me wild camping this summer “ if allowed “ going to do your very route thankyou guys Joan
Awesome video.. just subscribed
This is awesome bud! Thinking of heading up there for a solo midweek this or next week, what a beautiful spot! New sub from me :-) keep it going
Nice 👍...ever hike Gower?
You've got yourself a new subscriber, great videos. I like the fact that you include the route map and where to park in your videos, I wish more vloggers did that. What website or app do you use to make the route map and is it free? Cheers
looks like a great hike/camp! I've only just started venturing into Wales (did the Pn-y-Fan loop in january). is the parking spot safe/secure?
Do you mind sharing which app do you use to plan your hikes, navigating and finding routes? I have downloaded all the apps but can’t figure out which ones are upgrading to a premium account. Could use your 2 cents.
Shwmae Dai! Lovely edit
Mate this is absolutely incredibly well done! Hitting your straps with your hiking boots on ! Chur
i have always wanted to camp there it's on the bucket list
Good stuff, well done.
Backing volume was a touch loud in places and you need a setup to reduce the wind.
Cheers for the vid, subbed
This is wicked mate! Do you happen to have the postcode for the place you parked at? Also are the parking sure ball free and there are no fines? Would this route touch base on all of the waterfalls?
There's not a specific postcode unfortunately. I have written a blog post with detailed info on where to park: ohwhataknight.co.uk/blog/llyn-y-fan-fawr-hike-guide
i just wanna roll down the hills
What pack size are you using in the video? Also, trail runners, mid boot or full boot for that terrain? Thanks in advance. *Subbed.
Hi Chris, where you parked your car, is that anywhere near tafarn y garreg?
I parked my car just off a single track road that runs parallel to the river Tawe.
The turning is on your left shortly after you pass the tafan y garrerg pub.
Cheers chris hopefully get there soon once this is over, loving the content mate and you go to a lot of my favourite places with me being a local swansea dweller 👍🏻
Hi there. Do you need permission to wild camp here?
Hi Chris lovely vlog how do I convert your location coordinates to OS grid reference please or can you supply me? ATB Jim
I use Grid Reference Finder to convert coordinates. The OS location for the parking spot is SN 85315 20315, hope this helps.
Just Vin Cheers I found location, went there first weekend in September had a really good wild camp !
@@jimtilbrook4635 Glad you had a good camp, did you see an abandoned tent up there near Nant Y Llyn? I saw it on another vid.
Ya mate racist.. 😂
I used this video as a guide for my first wild camp last night!!! Had a great time. Thanks for uploading, it helped out loads! Looking forward to seeing more.
