  • Hello friends! Hope you like this new four-hands arrangement!
These two numbers were featured in the 1953 film, "The Band Wagon," which is one of the finest examples of the integrated musical. "Dancing in the Dark," with its sinuous and haunting melody, was the song to which Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse danced a romantic and memorable duet. We tried to capture that incredible mood in this arrangement. "That's Entertainment" is a great list song - a celebration of all that serves the purpose of show business and entertainment!

Yet another new "Favorite"! Your arrangements and wonderful playing breath fresh life into these great tunes. You are having so much fun and so are we! But I fear you are at risk of hand injuries, trying to play the same keys at the same time. Haha! I so look forward to these clips, and also to the lecture tomorrow. Thank both of you for your love for and commitment to this music, and sharing it all with us.

Can't help but notice you approach these videos like a concert. You dress as you would for a concert hall and the camera work is done to give an experience not available in live performances. Obviously there is a lot work put into these presentations.

Thank you! We choose the songs in different ways....some are long-time favorites and others we pick up from watching classic movies and listening to recordings.

Marvellous, so playful and relaxed. Wonderful playing and creative arrangement and I particularly like the considered notes also with the bit of background to the songs. As someone who enjoys classic musicals I will certainly be looking this one up. Thankyou.
