13:45 - The farseer is pointed that way due to the movement beacon trick. When you use a movement beacon on a unit it will face that direction even if you cancel the beacon. Cast was doing that every round to guard against flanks in a less obvious way. Units have a stronger agro towards what they are facing so even more forward facing chaff might not have pulled that farseer there. Also, Kragh wouldn't see this happening. On his side it would say the farseer is going straight forward.
with all the mustangs he had, he could have clicked AM, and probably would have gotten most of the fire/oil bombs. I think he got a little too focused on just killing the vulcans rather than stopping their ability. Opponent had no other missile type units so the stangs would have been still able to contribute to killing the air.
That would have been a good option. Another possibility would be photon emission on the mustangs, and mobile beacon them forward, as photon Gives Immunity to ground fire.
@@Santisima_Trinidad photon stops the ignite ability, but only reduces the DOT from ground fire. So they may live one or two seconds longer depending on the stang level, but generally photon does not counter ground fire for chaff units
this one is actually kind of funny Cast_ lost because they didn't get fortress shield. the power or blue bubbles into fire rockets is to strong. Now before you all comment "but they put shields" fortress shield can break the middle player line and let you encroach into enemy territory.
My dude, Cob, you are my top 3 MB casters! Love the energy. But, pretty pls, with sugar on top, turn up that game sound a "smible" dude. We love to hear teh mech boom booms, they are therapeutic. Maybe up the volume by 20%? Tnx matey. Love your casts!
I am commenting starting the video, but my main question is certainly "People do Rhino rushes?" I have not seen anyone do a rhino rush for so many months, on account of rhinos being so woefully weak I imagine. Maybe they do it hoping the opponent is too new to remember what to do?
@@ainumahtar yes, sometimes mostly after a unit drop round. A rank 5 rhino can be tough to deal with especially as a lot of people have a tendency to buy the unit just to sell it so it catches people off guard.
@@walksinthedarkness Yeah, Rhinos being used is not something I am that surprised by, with "rhino rush" I was thinking of something like the old rhino steel ball opener some people used a good while back, not simply rhinos as carry/core of the strat like we see in the video.
We've nerfed vuclan stats instead of nerfing their techs, and here's why this was wrong (imo). They will *still* invalidate any chaff existing on one or both sides of the board even if you nerf their HP another 5%...

Sounds like an exploit tbh
Fartseer, LOL!
I think the farseer turned back to target the Phoenix because cast_ used a mobile beacon trick to change the farseer's direction.

What about AM drones? Do they shoot down the Vulcan bombs too?
@@mancamiatipoola they can but not to a 100% efficiency while the fortress shield will have them collide with it and not trigger the fire.
Finaly i see high level play with incend + oil on vulcans. Been using it for a year my self and it is great.
The question is; do Regen Wraiths increase the fire damage?
@@ecbrown6151 No. Environmental dmg is the same as far as i know.
@@Kratatch I suspected as much, although the degen aura slows too, sounds like a nice combo with fire

"Felix is your cat" aka "Bob's you uncle"?
Great match
What a great game! I got so many ideas off of this video.
That was badass
Could cast_ have use a lot of overlord with mothership to just have some airborn chav that doesnt get burned to crisp by the vulcan fire?
a little... smibble of damage.. ah yes :'D
Smibble XD

I bet I would be dead at round 3 ..,.
