Murfreesboro - Dawn Attack (Final) 4k

In December of 1862, the Union Army of the Cumberland and the Souths Army of Tennessee set facing each other along Stones River, outside the town of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Rosecrans and Bragg both had intentions to strike the others flank, amazingly enough both were opposite of each other. Bragg got the early jump sending Hardees Corp into the union right at dawn, scattering 2 divisions of McCook. Join me in this 5 Turn Scenario covering this action.

This is one of my favourite games, I have played the full battle (historical scenario) multiple times over the years and found that even if the Confederates break the Union lines they do not have enough troops available to exploit that advantage. It is only if you play the game on the approach to battle with a free set up are you able to fully explore what might have happened if the Confederates had been more aggressive. I am a big fan of the CWB series and am looking at playing my copy of Perryville once I have finally finished playing the Blind Swords version (Grand Havoc) of that battle.
