  • The 3rd Leeds Classic Bus 'RunDay' was held on Sunday 21st August 2016. Once again there was a great variety of Buses in service and this year, a couple of new destinations were added to the event. Kirkstall Abbey, Thwaite Mills, Armley Mills, Middleton Railway, Morley Town Hall and The Royal Armouries with a circular service also operating.
With so many interesting places to visit and the opportunity to travel on so many classic buses, its difficult to do everything in one day. It really would be wonderful if, at some point in the future, this event could be the Leeds Classic Bus Weekend. Hint Hint.
I cant believe this was the third time I've been to Leeds for this event and it just gets better and better.
Many Thanks to everyone involved for a highly organised and thoroughly enjoyable event.

Great collection of vehicles and super sound. That Paisley bus was a bit lost though! Cheers, Jimmie

It really is a great event with a nice variety of buses. The Paisley bus was a pleasant surprise, I certainly didn't expect to see it.

Some very handsome buses there, and some nice liveries. That West Riding Leyland Titan is particularly nice. Certainly rather nicer looking than those new Wright and Alexander Dennis jobs like at 9:13!

You don't realise how varied the bus scene was until you see a number of them all operating at the same event. A lot of the modern buses are very similar in appearance
