  • If you want to hear the results you can get with only the software and the Natalie voice--this is for you. Most UA-camrs use Praat software to copy actual performances--I worked solely in the program and didn't try to copy Karen Carpenter. This is my first attempt at using Synthesizer V.
I created the backing track using Native Instruments' Picked Acoustic and Picked Nylon. I used Cinematic Studio Woodwinds to play the oboe solo from the Carpenters version. (Per Wikipedia, it was originally created on the guitar by Jose Feliciano.)
A big thank you to cottonbro studio for the beautiful video they posted on Pexels, and the two unnamed actors who played lovers. It was fun to cut that material together.

I used different work by cottonbro studio on my video NAIAD. • NAIAD - Music by Reid ...
The last shot in the video is from Tima Miroshnichenko (also Pexels).

While I didn't try to copy Karen Carpenter's singing with this, it's her version that made me love this song. As Natalie's voice also has a nice lower register, I thought it would be worth trying/
"For All We Know" was written in 1934 by J. Fred Coots (music) and Sam M. Lewis (lyrics).
Per UA-cam, the $7.52 this video will probably make will be split with LatinAutorPerf, UNIAO Brasileira de Editoras de Musica - LatinAutor - UMPG, and UMPG Publishing,
