@@lewismooney3941 Same here. I’d forget whether I was watching It’s Alive or Meateater content until he’d say water. When the “wourder pop up didn’t…pop up, I’d chuckle and remember. 🤙🏻
The quality of Meat eaters UA-cam content is getting so good it's crazy. And this is going to bring in so many people who aren't traditional hunters. Don't know if that's the goal but you are doing great
At the end of day, it ain’t about just hunting. It’s about thinking about our food and where it comes from. And the views of everybody on the meat eater team in that regards are amazing.
Brad is so good with the MeatEater crew and genre in general. I like the BA format and funny editing, but he really excels when he's in his element of cooking outside and getting with the ingredients.
The algorithm brought me here - and what a great episode! Going to have to watch some more from this channel. Danielle seems like a great host, and Brad is always a treat (dude is like the human equivalent of a golden retriever in all the good ways)
I LOVE this episode. This is a new superstar duo. Brad is PUMPED. Danielle is just so wonderful. And loved the soundtrack. This really was a fantastic show. Great work!
Danielle was excellent when she did her heart cooking episode and this was even better!!!!! Brads genuine enthusiasm is magnetic. Just draws you right in. Their excitement and passion is sooo authentic. This was absolutely exquisite. Can’t wait to see more. The entire meat eater family from meatier eater to das boat to the duck camp in Louisiana to cal in the field and now everything in between are all top shelf. There isn’t another outdoor network that is of this high a standard. Can’t thank you guys enough for the incredible content! Can’t wait for more!
I always get so envious of people who live in coastal cities when I see videos like this. It'd be so cool to live in a place where you can get such a diverse group of food from your environment. Where I live, there's your basic lake trout, bass, and pan fish, and then your typical venison and wild birds.
Probably tons of edible flora and fungi as well! I am a mediocre angler and hunter at best, but if you spend enough time foraging, it really rounds out your options.
@WigeonWitch oh for sure, I've been mushroom picking all spring, and this summer I'll pick huckleberries and wild raspberries, but these aren't things you can make a show stopping meal out of. They're fun to snack on while out in the woods or to use as an ingredient in a meal.
I’ve been watching Brad for years now! He’s a legend! Great vid I was hoping you guys would do a series with Danielle she has such a great vibe and knowledge.
All of the playful energy in this episode, so many smiles!!! this is why i love meateater content, everyone enjoys the work it takes to get from field to the table!
Brad seems like such a cool guy to go on fishing trips etc with haha so energetic and optimistic. Really enjoyed this episode with Danielle and the gang, thanks
The crossover I didn't know I needed. Too bad Steve wasn't there. Love to see him and Brad talk shop. Definitely need more Brad content. The "It's Alive" edit style should go with Brad no matter what show he's on. Guy is so fun to watch.
@@HammerSmashedFace92 Waaaay too many jump cuts and those annoying beep cuts in those videos. All the newer Brad videos on BA make it look like Brad doesn't know what he's doing at any given time. Basically, they're not cohesive. On top of that, his whole shtick over there can be boiled down to 3 steps. Step 1, put fruit/veg in vac bag. Step 2, wait a couple weeks. Step 3, open vac bag and now you have fermented food.
@@HammerSmashedFace92 @Isaac F. for some reason the first few seasons of its alive was really good. But something happened with the newer seasons which made it unwatchable
Meateater productions as a whole never cease to amaze me. The variety of subjects, introducing the viewer to so many new ways of all things outdoors. I love being introduced to the folks you bring us. Watching season ten of Meateater brings back lots of memories and lets me enjoy through you guys years in the woods and on the water. Makes me want to go some more. But at 71 many of these things are almost impossible. But I've got Meateater...all of y'all, and for that I thank you for making me smile.
meat eater content has just been getting better and better every month. seriously addicted. Thank you to the meat eater team for coming up with these kind of incredible shows for us!!!
What a episode and beautiful region and bounty. It will be lovely to see more episodes around the northeast. Danielle is the type of woman that makes the US wonderful. The gatherers and hunters that, like her, become more and more few and far between. Interesting new show that is majorly cool to have on this network. This was a great first episode and everything looed wonderful and wholesome in a great boreal setting.
My Dad spent 23 years in the U.S. Army and hated turkey. The bird, not the country. So come Thanksgiving we had shrimp and lobster tails that Mom would start buying around September because they were pricey even in the commissary. Seeing the folks at the table reminded me of those times. Our table looked like we'd been visited by otters with all the shells left behind. Thanks for a great episode.
Meat eater is so freaking cool. Just like how their hunting shows aren’t a normal hunting show their cooking show is far from a cooking show. So much more depth and knowledge being shared. This was awesome.
Growing up in New England and seeing everything this show offered brought back many happy memories of not only the animals, but the flavorful dishes. Thank you
I love to see the difference in how we catch bluecrabs. In florida we set traps in costal rivers but up north they use nets and go out at night. Crazy how just a couple hundred miles the crabbing culture changes so much
Wow just re-watched this video, great job. New England is amazing for these Seafood delicacies. Grew up out there and clams are basically life for alot of people. Thank you for doing this!
I like this show because they don't caught the awkward and uncomfortable moments Danielle has trying new things. Also like seeing Brad wear a Crooked Creek Holler hat.
I am a hunter, a fisherman, an a gardener. I hold great value in knowing where my food comes from. Once again MeatEater hit it out of the park, Danielle you rock long time fan. I think demonstrating what can be done with our wild harvest is one of the best ways to promote hunting as a whole, keep up the great work you are doing.
I worked as commercial shell fisherman in the western part of the sound through my 20's. We harvested clams and oysters. Most people on the CT shoreline from Old lyme down to Norwalk grow up having clambakes.
Fried soft shelled crab sandwich might be my favorite thing to eat. Clams are not bad, either. I live by the bay in VA and this episode really hit home for me. To be honest I had no idea people that far north in Connecticut had the same opportunity. Enjoyed the show, thanks.
Would love to see brad join the team on his own run of wild game cooking and fermentation stuff. Feels like a better fit here than bon apetit
Crazy How Brad and Steve could shine... Brad is my favorite person next to that Michigander with the Goods Steve

It's Alive is kind of it's own channel.
Too would like to see him out from under Epicurus' thumb.
UA-cam Bon appetit. Brad is awesome. Test kitchen.

was just about to comment this same thing!
I thought the same, but this is Brad.....Brad...silently stalking...?
On the Bon Appetite channel , he goes on a shoot
I just want to see him run his mouth and then Steven commenting about it. lmao
He was a great guy and needs a MeatEater show, but Steve would kill him for being loud lol. Maybe a social duck hunt or dove
Need to just sign Brad.. he'd shine on Meateater.
Give him his own show. I'd love to see him just go around talking to farmers and doing stuff like this.
SIGN BRAD
Totally agree!! He has such a great personality. Used to watch him on bon appetit until they switched everything up.
He's a living cartoon character lol everything about that dude makes me chuckle, he reminds me of Chris miloni lol
He probably would but I keep picturing him doing fermented venison or pickled coyote.
Big respect to brad to be able to pull back on his amazing passion and excitement in the moments that matter when he is not the host.
This was great
He was an awesome guest, wasn't he? But I'm happy to see that he was going bonkers off of every bite
