inscrutable, first came across dubFX via BD films in 2010 and was mesmerized watching him build the loops up. I haven't watched any of these in a few years but decided to watch them tonight on a whim.... and instantly thought the same thing you just stated!

This is exactly why I can't take most Dj's seriously. I know it's not the same but even with their fancy setups, laptops and consoles, they rarely come close to the musical quality and virtuosity of this guy. I'm not trying to pick up fights or anything, but come on, this is a whole other league on music crafting.

Well you know this guy is creating his own music. He's not DJing. Don't get me wrong a lot of DJs are now making their own music and that's all they dj. But the vast majority of djs, you know they make a track or two, themselves, and even later on when they have a big catalog of their music they made, a lot of the times when a person DJs they're going anybody's music not just their own. This only proves your point even more, because those DJs should take the time to pick amazing music only, but for DJs like me it makes our jobs a lot easier😂😂😂

Personally, I think Dub FX and Eminem are in completely different classes. Dub FX's rapping is much more G rated, which I like, and the gun, drug, misogyny references that pervade Eminem's lyrics are not there in those of Dub FX.

There is still great tracks right now. If you look back in the comments back then in 2009, there was plenty of people saying the same thing you are now there is no good music on UA-cam or wherever. I promise you take any genre of music you like and listen to 1000 tracks. To make it quick on you you go to the middle of the song listen for about 10 15 seconds, if you don't like it skip it quickly. Out of that thousand tracks you might have maybe a hundred good tracks. I have been DJing since 2003. It's been that way the whole time.
