Vanessa rambles and strays farther and farther from the subject. The waters she wades through are so deep and extensive---cognitively--- that it is not possible or fair and just to float on the surface. A wave rises, surges, tumbles---and carries her away to the mnemonic milestones she has waiked past, unshod like Socrates. Brilliant discourse. Kudos to the introducer for compressing the quiddity called Vanessa in minutes !
