Congratulations for making it to Mauritania/ Senegal , I just can't believe it how you did pass that tough roads in Morocco, especially that you chosed a hard roads in Morocco, while you left such good ones by the coast with amazing scenaries. Good luck for the rest of your journey, We will keep our eyes on you. Much love from Morocco.
I really like the way you are so humble and respect the traditions and sensibility of the people whose countries you are passing through. Speaking to them with respect, buying food locally, and even the way you are dressed helps you to fit in, I think.
Thank you for giving such a thoughtful comment ❤ Yes we think it is very important and also gives a much more rewarding experience when we try to understand the way of life and the culture around us. One of the many reasons we love to travel by bike, too! 😊✌🚲🚲
Yoo this is awesome!! I am Mauritanian and i truly think you will inspire many people on your journey... simply amazing! I wish I was back home and knew about you being there! Welcome to your second home guys! 🤘🤘
First of all: our apologies to Drew for moving this conversation to his comment thread, we would really rather not but at the same time we feel it is important to answer these comments and we did’t want to delete these links and move the conversation to the appropriate thread since someone might misunderstand that as us trying to silence these comments. Thank you for your concern. Yes we know about these incidents. The reality about the human society is unfortunately that crime happens all around the world in all continents and all countries, regardless of race and skin color. The sad point is that the media often are selective with their reporting on crime and are quick to label crimes committed by some people simply as hate crimes and terrorism when similar crimes committed by people of privilege are covered as mental health related, or the criminal being victim of brainwashing. The result is an unfair picture about people, a country or even a continent. Do you know that there has been ‘only’ two (that’s obviously two too many) terrorist attacks in Morocco since 2003 with 19 people killed, while in the US 191 people have died in terrorist attacks in the last 16 years? (Add to that that many acts of terror have not been categorised as such since they where committed by white people.) From our point of view the countries you might believe are unsafe for white people to travel, we find very safe and people very very friendly and hospitable. Please notice that we have traveled all across these countries metre by metre and meet many, many people. The world would be a much more peaceful place if we would respect everyone equally and also not spread fear and prejudice. Dividing people with hate and fear benefits a very small part of the society who play on these fears to gain power and money and keep their position of privilege. Here is a link the 2018 Global Terrorism Index report, where we can se the US at a a rating 6.066 (high) and place 20(/138), and Morocco with a score of 0.038 (very low) on place 132(/138). So we invite you to reconsider your definition of “safe”. visionofhumanity.org/app/uploads/2018/12/Global-Terrorism-Index-2018.pdf
@@NomadsTrails I see that you are a kind of person who reads the first two pages of a report before making conclusions... -Please take a look at the page 36 titled: Attacks and deaths from terrorism by region, 2002 to 2017 of the PDF document which you have linked. -I look forward to your next response.
"Nguvu kwenu" to mean "power to you" ... Hats off..massive respect. Totally blown away. I cycle and will one day do what you are doing, but like on a road bike, with a much lighter set up. hello, thank for your comment and kind words!❤️ when you decide to cycle around the world you will do it for sure! yes our bicycles are heavy😅 but we like the idea of being totally independent in most of the aspects and challenges we do face, also we like to carry durable equipment which are heavier. but for sure you can do it in lighter set up also🙌🏽 wish you best of luck with every thing!😊

Hi Peyman Matilda I have been following some other cycling tourists for years but somehow only just found you. Great video and will have to watch your previous ones now. I thought we had had a heat wave here in the UK but it does not compare to the heat you have had to endure. Needless to say you have another Sub now. Stay safe you two.

Greetings from India! Discovered your videos a while back, and love them. Great to see you cheerful and enthusiastic most of the time. Both of you have such individual ways of speaking, which I find attractive, and it lends a lot of character to the videos. Would love to know which bikes you are riding. In fact, a gear review video would be interesting.

Really feel.for you with the heat stroke. Had it twice this year. Once harvesting rice in the Philippines in 36 Deg C heat and then again cycling at home in the UK when temperatures hit around 30 Deg C over summer. The problem is by the time you realise your in trouble it's already too late. Keep safe and stay well hydrated. Keep up the good work.
