my daughter fell in love with an American lad she meet on line.. she went over to meet him.. she spent 90 fantastic days with him. she is now home and pregnant😢 she loves her boyfriend and he loves her but she don't work at the moment as having a rough pregnancy and he works in America but he wants to be here. do you have any advice please 🙏 xxx
Ah that's tricky isn't it? If they're in love and want to be together, it's do-able but she would have to sponsor him and they'd need to be either engaged to be married or in a civil partnership. Hi there, i’m looking for advice/information about visiting Edinburgh, my wife has been there alone for two months, i am going to Edinburgh in November, i do not have a visa, i want to surprise my wife and visit her for ten days around September five, she has told me that if i visit her that i have to stay out of Edinburgh/UK for six months, from the video’s i have seen on youtube such as yours, she would be wrong or has gotten wrong information from someone else.Can i visit Edinburgh for ten days one month and then come back to Edinburgh two months later and stay there for my six months.Who would i ask for this question, because neither Edinburgh embassy or the UK embassy could answer me for certain.Do i need to speak with UK visa and immigration? Thank You for any advice to help me with my travel.We are USA citizens.
If you visit Edinburgh for ten days that doesn't affect your being able to return again two months later and stay for up to 6 months. The only thing to remember is you can stay a maximum of 6 months at one time. That's it. So have a lovely surprise visit with your wife!
