If you have ridden Beartooth Hwy on a motorcycle and know of a prettier and more exciting ride, please let us know in the comments. We are headed to Colorado next and so far this is our favorite ride.
Great video. Have you ridden NM 152 through Gila National Forest? I went through there on a recent cross-country ride and have to say it was one of my favorite routes ever.
@@CrunchMoto Do you mean 159? I am not seeing a 152. We will be in Eastern AZ soon to ride the Devil's Highway. Gila will be fairly close so we may have to work it in. Thanks!
Going to the sun road.... Glacier N.P. Highly recommended... I did this on the same road trip after Beartooth Pass... Also only accessed a few months in the summer....Stay safe out there, Rubber side down! 🙂
For others planning a trip..Early August is typically the best time to do the beartooth pass on a motorcycle... Been twice and this is likely the most spectacular drive in the entire USA... Thanks for sharing your footage.
Mmmmmm, minty fresh. lol I was in that area in '91 for my brother's wedding in Thermopolis. After that me, my son, his two boys from a prior marriage, our sister's oldest daughter with mom and dad went up to Yellowstone for a couple days. Not nearly long enough. I might add this as a stop in August if I make it to rocky mt roll.
The Bear Tooth Highway and the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway are are probably my top two rides. There is a great campground on the Chief Joseph Byway called Dead Indian Campground. Have camped there several times. Once on 4th of July and there was only 2 camp sites used. Thanks for sharing.
It truly was such an amazing experience! The only part I could have lived without was the brown bear in the middle of the road. I’ve never had to make a u-turn that tight or fast on my Goldwing! However, great pictures and story!

Sorry- I should have been more specific. It runs east from Silver City to I-25
@@CrunchMoto I see it now. Looks like a nice ride. Thanks for the recommendation!
