As someone who loves their 35xx I greatly appreciate that this is a thing. One thing I would love to see is someone 3d print a new back plate for it with a larger battery recess so you could fit something like a 4000 mah battery or something similar, I think a lot of people would pay good money for one.
This is cool, but for some folks who need a cheaper alternative you can go with small external hdd case (12x9x5cm) it is bulky but sturdy enough to protect ur rg35xx if u travel a lot with it
I love at the end of each of ur videos how u say stay nerdy my friends. It doesn’t sound cheesy and it’s very original and I’m not being sarcastic either. Love ur work

Just got my rg35xx for 60 no shipping on temu it took couple weeks I love this little thing I will look into the cases this one looks cool
I definitely should've bought one. Think my screen has a small amount of bleed at the bottom. Almost unnoticeable in game. But with white screens u can tell. Probably from too much pressure while in my pocket.(also dang.. third..)
You could use a lighter to quickly burn off the strains

I got one with a 128gb sd cars already setup with garlic os…but it is missing just a couple roms I would like to install. Any suggestions on where to find those or atleast what rom set I should be searching for?
I definitely can't tell you where to get ROMs. Easy way to get myself into a lot of trouble.
Does the white foam from unboxing fit under there? I'd feel a lot better if it did. Especially without a screen protector
I don't have it anymore to check, but I doubt it.
@@scaryifliteral it's all good. I keep mine in a portable hard drive case with the white foam on it. I might still look into that 3d printed faceplate though. My real concern was whether or not those hexagons are going to rub a pattern into the screen over time

It does not have any rumble or haptics
There is. It's just not programmed well. The latest version of Garlic os will unlock it if I'm not mistaken.

Just looked at the two. Hard to see but I have transparent cases for both. I think the last video I watch that even talked about rumble showed it next to the corner speaker of the rg35xx. No space for that in the 3v due to the central speaker. Maybe they move it for the 3v and they both have it but I'm not certain. I've just recently obtained both devices and haven't had time to mod them yet.
@@gnawtsatyr8865 I went in to mod the d pad on the 35xx and I didnt see any rumble motor.
I think this cover is cool and I've seen multiple people talk about it but anbernic does sell a case for it....
Anbernic sells a case that is very different from this. Options are good.
@@scaryifliteral no I agree for a desk case I feel like this does the job well. Especially if you play it regularly like every couple of hours or so. My point being that no one is mentioning anbernics official case which is very nice imo. Don't get my wrong I'm always there to support artists (I have gba cases from Etsy and multiple sets of better buttons as well).
Their case falls apart after a month
@@jacobjones8396 mine have been holding up fine but they stay around the house. I will agree craftsmanship isn't superior but the price is good

I am still missing a somehow profound video about the RG35XX' performance actualy being shown in games, primary of course PS1 as it's the most demanding emulation on ther RG35XX..
The amount of time I've spent on PS1 is probably 15 minutes lol. Just isn't a console I care about, sorry I've not covered it much.
@@scaryifliteral It's less about the PS1, but about the RG35XX's performance. Thinking that probably no other emulator will run 'worse' then the PS1, because the others are all much older, one would believe that a device running all PS1 games smoothly will run all older games perfectly.

Yep, solid point! Might have to wait a while for shipping and it's a proper large case whereas this keeps a very small form factor.

Absolutely worthless. Covers the front and not the back. Not fully enclosed. It's a shell, not a case.
By that logic there are almost no phone cases, only shells lol. The part you most want to protect, the buttons and the screen are very well protected with this. This 100% makes this thing something you could toss in a bad without much worry.
He's got a point. It's not a case. Just get a portable hard drive case. It's like 10 bucks. Then put that sweet shell on it and you're good to go with mini HDMI and a USB c cable on the go
