    Here also be didn't explained deeply.
    But he is good Prof.
    What is maximum value of Poisson ratio for linear elastc material??
    Answer: maximum value is 0.5 example: Pure elastic rubber, incompressible fluid.
    minimum value is 0. example: cork,glass.
    For polymer film the range of Poisson ratio is -1 to 0.5( All genetic materials behaves negative Poissons ratio( example: any material with life)
    For metals 0.25 to 0.33
    If Poisson ratio increase ductility increases.
    Generally,
    If Poisson ratio is in the range of 0 to 0.25 is called brittle Material.
    If Poisson ratio is greater than 0.25 to 0.5 is called as ductile material.
    If Poisson ratio is 0.5 (I.e., Change in volume is zero) it is called as non dilatant material .
    If Poisson ratio is exactly 0.25 (For isotropic material)
    Poisson ration for rigid body cannot be determined.
    Why maximum Poissons ratio is limited?i.e., 0.5
    For GATE Level deep explanation is required.
