Well done...your videos entertain me and inspire. So much so that I revisited The Breathing Method. Thank you so much for helping me rediscover this gem of a story.
That is a great shirt. i am a fairly recent subscriber and am enjoying your videos. My favorite story from this collection is The Body. I relived a small part of my childhood with this tale as my friends and I would embark on overnight camp outs. The characters are both strong and vulnerable. Apt Pupil was scary and dark.
What is the story where a guy is invited to a club, and there's a library with non existent books found only in that library? At one point the guy is warned not to tell anyone, and I seem to remember something about him getting a glimpse of a frightening landscape when he opens the wrong door?
Personally, I preferred the movie to the novella of Apt Pupil. Yes, it is less violent, but it felt much more realistic, and Todd felt much more like a real teenager.
I blame your King reviews for my current King obsession! 🤨 Dude, you need to get a discord channel for a King book club. Different buddy reads, King appreciation and just a general hangout for Constant Readers. Please consider it!!
I didn't like the pregnancy novella. A Dr. and his pregnant patient talking about giving birth and then "the end." I liked the enchanting gentleman's club with that colorful fireplace and the dark mystery about it with the idea of telling ghost stories but I had to fast forward the women issues trivial parts which is most of it. The book did however go out with a giant bang which made the cat in the oven of Apt Pupil look like nothing.
As always the timestamp is in the description.
I always enjoy your videos as much as I enjoy Stephen King books and writing in notebooks short stories.
Thanks, you made this one sound fascinating. Looking forward to reading it now
I seriously believe this is his best 4 novellas collection and I like best The Breathing method as well

Wondered if only I liked "The Breathing Method" more than the remaining novellas !
It is an enchantment.
I really enjoyed all of the stories but the breathing method really stuck with me
@@theloveofreading3563 The Breathing Method was also my favourite novella from the collection.

A winters tale.
@@theloveofreading3563 Thanks! I thought that was it, but wasn't sure. The idea of the club was fascinating.
