Ah yes the golden age of war thunder. How I miss logging in and hearing this and just sitting in the hangar listening to all the beautiful music they had. Wish they would bring it back
Among my later works, I wrote this mourning my father. And if you listen, you can hear the grief, but also the relief of his welcome into the heavens. It gladdens me to see that some may hear this sound still
The days of old, no ships, no helicopters, no ground forces. Hearing this song brings back memories, of looking at aircraft in a hangar in a virtual game, and yet it conveys such nostalgia and emotion. RIP old hangar music, 1.77 took you from us, you are missed to this day.
Oh gosh, this hits so hard. Anyone remember in like 2015, when there were only 5 countries in wa thunder and only 3 nations with tanks, and this song played in the menu...........forgive me but God this hits hard, remember being a kid and just got the game and were very excited and started grinding the japanese tree for zeros, and this played always in the menu.......truly after 6 years remember this for the first time.....
The song is a prayer. The prayer is a meditation on Christ’s real presence in the Blessed Sacrament, and ties it to the redemptive meaning of suffering in the life of all believers. A fitting rendition to a game where you take to the skies, lands, and seas in machines mostly from WWII, the bloodiest war in our recorded history, where many of the men who used them died.
"Oh be careful little eyes what you see, oh be careful little eyes what you see. There is a father up above and he's looking down in love, so be careful little eyes what you see."
yeah same here, probably because i played war thunder long ago before, now whenever i heard this song its bringing those memories back that i wanted to cry now lol
Thank you Father in Heaven for the bountiful beauty of your creation of which music to lift the soul closer to Thee is but one of it’s many joys. And thank you for those whose gifts given by you, help us to draw nearer to Thee. 🙏 Amén!
I get the feeling Mozart had understood that the inevitable was fast approaching. The whole piece resounds a sense of impending doom, and the final line is a resilient>repugnant>reluctant resignation to the same.
@@wanderingpalace It is correct that there is no God. We are not all Gods, but we are all interconnected. Through many different ways, in fact. No, we are not the ultimate source of creation. That term is abstract and completely meaningless. It is altogether a dumb thing to say. Additionally, we do more discovering than creating. No, we are not oblivious to our actions. It is true this can occur, but it is obviously not the normal.
A man who’s survived the worst of wars against the Canadians after the annexation of Canada goes home broken and battered, he leaves his family most days and goes out to the wilderness of Zion canyon to survive alone for several days at a time trying by to avoid the memories, the PTSD, the horrors, one day he’s driving back to his home in Salt Lake City, his car shuts down and he knows what’s to come as he braces himself as 13 nukes strike down in Salt Lake City, his family vaporized he now broken down in the truck decided to hike back to Zion, took a week to walk and once he’s back he heads to one of the many caves he marked on his map, he finds that it was inhabited by some US environmental personnel who quickly left after the bombs dropped, they left many supplies which was good for the man, he survives days, weeks, and using a Geiger counter he finds that just outside the cave has lethal amounts of radiation outside, he’s stuck, the only thing he can do is wait. Wait. And wait. Months go by but the radiation Persists as his food runs low and water runs dry, but almost by miracle before he dehydrates to death the radiation lowers to a safe level, he leaves the cave and sees snow that almost appears glowing, no signs of life outside almost as if he was the last living thing on earth, he survives longer in the cave, but eventually he starts seeing life, small geckos, cacti, and big horned bovine looking animals, life had survived the Great War it seemed, later on he sees other people, their clothing is ragged and guns in poor condition, they spoke Spanish, perhaps from Mexico, he almost wanted to go talk to them but he feared that they could have disease or cannibals and so he kept his distance watching, he watched them for months, one of the men of the people there the man had named named Jose broke his leg but his screams were out of reach of the rest, the man decided to replicate Jose’s screams leading the rest of the people to the real Jose, they found him and cared for him. The man watched them for the rest of the week to see that that Jose appeared to have gotten an infection from his broken leg, out of sight he placed some anti biotics left behind from the environmental workers on a rock nearby to be found, he backed out of sight back to his watching spot and they found it, after a few more months of watching them from the shadows Jose appeared to have healed, though a slight limp but alive, a few more weeks go by and he sees new humans arrive, they wore blue jumpsuits and carried guns far better than the Mexicans’s guns, the new people made a coughing and wheezing meaning they were infected by something, but they soon found the Mexicans and slaughtered them, seeing the people the man had seen for months and helped be slaughtered lit something in him. He knew their numbers were greater than he could handle so he couldn’t go gun-a-blazing or he’d get killed, the remaining Mexicans were pinned like animals, The man das thins and made a plan to free them sneakily. But when the time came he was too late, the men in the blue jumpsuits were eating charred flesh over a fire still coughing, this set a rage in the man, as from the shadows with his rifle he set fire on them, killing multiple of them and leaving the remaining to tell the others to go away that this canyon is not their home. The next day he booby traps his cave in fear that they’ll come for him. A squad of them was caught in the traps and used the cave to his advantage slaughtering them. After weeks of slowly killing all the coughing men another was caught in the trap, but this time it was female, she had her leg deep in a bear trap and screaming, he peeled to see her, she was blonde and wearing the same jumpsuit as the men, her eyes must’ve adjusted to the dark quickly as she saw the man, the angry spirit that was killing all the coughing men, she screamed when she saw him but after a while she stopped screaming seeing that the man didn’t kill her, they started to talk and after gaining the mans trust he got her out the bear trap (I’ll write the rest later)

Your Father pretty much ruined your life.
Mozart's father died 4 years before this was composed. He wrote it for his sixth son, Franz Xaver, who his wife was pregnant with at the time.

One of his more underrated works that deserves a lot more attention tbh.
