It's possible if this variety show was done not too long after they shot the drama. Sometimes actors stay in their previous characters for a long time, it can even take years, and they may adopt some of their personality traits for life.
These two have risen to a Gong Yoo/Lee Dong-Wok level chemistry in my opinion. I can't help but laugh when watching them together. I need more.

There was actually 11 episodes altogether, that would have given us more time with the boys. But due to public pressure to dump the female lead, after she got into a drink-driving incident, the Director was forced to cut out most of her scenes, therefore shortening the storyline. I hope one day, we'll see all 11 episodes as it should have been. Here's hoping.
