    OMG great video!
I had bumped into another video where the person manually dragged a grayscale image file into solidworks instead of using the built-in textures.
    This is great, thanks!

Hi Alejandro. Do you know which software I can use to create a new greyscale image? Let's say i have my own surface texture in mind and want to put it into solidworks? How can I do this? Please, tell me if you know. Knowing the software will help me a lot. Thanks in advance.

@@humbertosilva4140 If you're trying to create a bitmap image, you can use a program like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape to create a greyscale bitmap. Good luck!

Great Video! Very useful! Would you happen to know how to reverse the texture so that it is going into the material instead of protruding out. Thanks!

Sure thing! In the '3D Texture' menu, just uncheck the 'White Up Black Down' box and it will reverse the direction of the texture!

What about manufacture file? Does this type of modeling be effective for productions?
