The road texture looks trippy at ~ 140 mph. Like the car is still and everything (that's not the road) is moving around it. Also, I suppose there must be some sort of air stream simulation going on if going nearly 200 mph cools down the coolant.
At around 17:00 he said "all the steel and *iron* in the vehicle...", there is no pure iron in any modern day vehicles, or ones that were made after 2000, since when it oxidizes, it rust and corrodes! He also said "it depends on what type of iron it is." IRON IS AN ELEMENT!!! THERE IS ONLY ONE TYPE OF IRON!!!! He also had the melting points of iron and steel mixed up. Not trying to be a party pooper, just felt like I needed to share that.
The Bolide you were using has the oil cooler equipped, thats why the oil thermostat was cycling. Its an endurance racer, while the Dragster is a, well, dragster. It pulls a (most likely) 1/4 mile run, then the oil, engine, transmission, rear end(aka differential) has time to cool off.
WhyBeAre you can just slow the time down to a 100 times slow as normal and then just hold the speed button down when you change cars. Please like this comment so he can see it
Do a video about testing modded cars vs. the normal vehicles and do a speed test, crash test, drop test, Gravity test, acceperation and deceleration test, and finally do one about controlling the vehicle. If you do this I will mail you a 5 dollar bill (please do this even though it'll be like a two hour video I love your videos YBR)
Three things for sure of the AI on this map1. The AI does make u-turn ramdomly(that happen to me for many times)2.Sometimes,some how,the AI will drive the car into the water,or the car will mysteryly damages. 3.You can have a "one tank run" compare of cars using this map and AI
I think the bolide was overheating becaouse it has the engine on the back and moonhawk has the engine on the front so that means it was cooling it down
It's a shame the IA won't work properly. They should have a "mantain accelerating and course" so you freeeze physics, make them all rev up, unfreeze and they just keep on going straight.
If you hold throttle and press Tab to change to another vehicle while you still accelerate, the car you left keeps accelerating with the throttle position you left before. It doesnt turn(just go straight till it lose dontrol if it does), but i think its a good way to perform a nice drag. Repeat this for every car you want to drag with. It just have a few cons... You have to keep pushing the button for the car you are wearing unless you want it to decrease speed, and if the track turns any direction, those cars will keep going straight. Lets say its like a brick stuck on the right foot pedal... Like if you want him to see this! (like too if you already knew it, or you just have tried it)
That makes the speedometer freak out and just makes him lose momentum In real life I believe it would cause the engine or driveshaft to explode due to extreme centrifical flrces
+ooo 52 I have to disagree with you, because most alloys have lower melting points than their base materials. For example 2024 duralumin (aluminium alloy) melts at 500°C which is 160°C less than pure aluminium.
full synthetic should be able to withstand temps higher than 150C, and that is a drag car, so it would be using special oil that wouldnt get ruined at that high of a temp
The actual length of SSRB is ~175km! Checked it out with the S-Series S12 and it was constantly doing >350km/h at 9th gear! Completed the whole straight in about 30 minutes!
My son, Kaidric, is 7 years old and he's a huge fan of your channel and we watch your videos a lot. His opinion is that maybe if you do only two cars at a time maybe it will work better.
An engine that is running at 1700+ °C... and it can still get the car up to 150+ mph? Yeah, sure, that's realistic. I suppose it doesn't simulate thermal warping yet. Or, you know, melting.
Yo WhyBeAre, you should try the ETK 800 Series Wide Body Edition. Its top car has a top speed of over 240 mph, and there is a really badass drift tune as well. By the way, keep it up with the great videos.
Hey YBR, what if you took some cars and let them go on random AI along this map, then got a police car and tried to chase down and disable as many as you can without changing or resetting your own car. That'd be really cool I think.
I've saw a boildie in real life overheat and it was burning as hell on a 50cm car track. along with some other cars as well in Rockcampton in Australia
Hey whybeare, an idea for a future video could be to take like 4 different cars and then drive hard to try to overheat the engines and see how they differ, also you could try them with the different radiators, empty, radiator, and high performance radiator
WhyBeAre, the only UA-camr who can drive cars in a straight line for almost half an hour and still make the video entertaining! :)
OJ so true
So true
Iron's melting point is 1510 and Steel is at 1370, so your guess was very close.
19:55. Who wants to see a car transform into a dragon?
anyone getting a little trippy with the high speed run?
yea me it seems as if its going in reverse and then fowards
Its like moving slow but not really.
ya
that is so trippy
yep
This video is a classic to me. Been watching for years!
The melting point of High carbon steel is 1353 C
Perhaps
+Ali Mosa Are you canadian, cause your using celcius
+Ali Mosa and Aluminum melts at 660 C
yes, but the gasoline would ignite as soon as it would get into the cylinder
Wouldn't the oil burn as well from touching something that hot?
1:25 Well, the car is Italian...
+Car Lover Hey! >,.,>
brian greco ...
😂 some people didn't get it
Myron Johnson Yeah, well, i didin't xD
I think i get it because italy is extremely cold ? I have been there
i choked on a cruton while watching this video +1 Like
Did you live?
WhyBeAre Nah i died
(also thanks for replying means alot to me =D)

yep
Dropyonder dGG ups ?
behold. The winged noodle
I used to watch this when i was 9...
A reasonable speed of 500 mph, not something you usually hear.
+Lord Ryno Gaming when talking about planes it is, it's not hard to get a weak jet to go 500
Some Weeb True, suppose then its normal. Still when talking about cars it isn't.
Lord Ryno Gaming unless we're talking about the drag pickup
Some Weeb True but maybe not reasonable from a everyday point of view. Unless that's your day job.
+Lord Ryno Gaming or at-at's
YBR: "Keep it at a reasonable speed,
500 miles per hour"
Me: "That's way too fast!"
Me: "Also you sound like you do that speed all the time"
The AwesomeRCMinecrafter that's funny

I just came up with this. When a car is overheating, will using the wind app help cool it down?
lol
Don't think so yet, but it would be interesting to see in the future.
+Brent Fabian that's a good idea tho
since water doesn't cool it down, wind probably won't.
may work
The civetta bolide proves that molten metal can still be a key component in performance engines!
At around 17:00 he said "all the steel and *iron* in the vehicle...", there is no pure iron in any modern day vehicles, or ones that were made after 2000, since when it oxidizes, it rust and corrodes! +NinjaNerd the bolide was made in the 70s and 80s.
It still shouldn't (keyword: shouldn't) have pure or a high concentrate of iron in the engine.
NinjaNerd
Probably has an aluminum engine block.
BeamNG Drive can melt steel beams confirmed
+FSXgta It melts your pc :D
+PinkPlushie perhaps
Also melts old crusty windows xp pcs

16:43 the bolide's engine should just melt at that temperature i'm fairly certain
if you stare into long enough it looks like it's moving slow or moving backwards
llTBNRllyokaizo I know

I don't think Michael Bay can't compete with that explosion
4:39 A car starting up is heard right here.

the bollide has something called: *DETERMINATION*

Lol sorry I had to
Tell me if you get that refrains
+WhyBeAre 2:15 I had the Ibishu Covet fail with just the head gasket being blown, and the rings being damaged.
these m and m commercials are ridiculously long and you can't skip bullshit
lol i just reload the whole thing when that happens
i just love the new beamng drive update that now actually shows what part of your car is damaged.
that tank turned into a dragon
ikr
TheSpartankiller87 it does
TheSpartankiller87 omg it does that's amazing
that 390GTR is the most dedicated car ever. even at 1500°C (-ish) it kept on going. good on civetta for making the unmeltable car.
Iron melts at 1500 C
Anything for us dumb Americans?

+Chatanpreet Chaggar - Walnut Grove PS (1416) Small typo - pesky finger is back at it again! I'll make sure he pays for it.
It does work correctly but it will stop completely first to align with the ai path
19:47 - congratulations, you turned it into a metal as f*ck dragon.
Can't wait to get my rig together, this game's come a long way, ybr you're the best
"Let's just keep it at a reaonable speed of 500mph."

240 mph = 400 kph
technically a car's engine can't reach any melting point on it's own, but that's still hilarious
500Mph.... *reasonable speed*
I loved that Gran Turismo map. I remember me and my friend going around it in opposite directions and trying to crash into each other xD
Im pretty sure the engine for the bollide is made out of AiSi and some crazy metals
*AlSi

I like to spend a half hour of my day watching cars drive.
you could use the space thingy
Its the fast and furious 6 plane runway!
I remember when this vid was uploaded
it looked like you was goin in slow mo in the beginnin from goin so fast. That was badass.
17:07 turn on captions...
+Zayed Rayhan WTF
It's a glitch with auto captions.
No, auto captions is just _really_ bad.
Was this a glitch in the old years?
the bolide goes so fast it makes it look like its going slow due to the tripy road
fun fact: cars can't go over 350km/h.
Why not?
therobloxGuy8/ SAWANA WANA the tires come onto so much pressure and stress that they literally being to evaporate due to heat.
+ドリフトXanax
Sounds dangerous.
200 MPH= 322 kph and the Henessey Venom goes 270
+Ian Llera
Those tires are strong
19:50 Ayyyy! You just made a dragon :D
Try downshifting at very high RPMs
That makes the speedometer freak out and just makes him lose momentum
In real life I believe it would cause the engine or driveshaft to explode due to extreme centrifical flrces
Tachometer*
yeah lol
I always say speedometer when I mean tachometer
LOL that blower on that moonhawk works WONDERS lol
surprise the bulleye dident catch on fire
STUF
kw Ko
and it would seem to have the same thing.
Thank you!!! For making more beam ng videos keep it up please
Reminds me of Special Stage Route X in Gran Turismo 6.
19:47 he turned that car straight into a dragon
it actaully did, thats so funny
+Hammy the hamster lol yea I noticed it and I was like whoa it's a dragon
Lol Boss Starting For The Drag But Fail At The Same Time XD
At 15:36 it looks like he was reversing
crazy how realistic this game is getting
true is awesome
0:38 I thought it stopped
If you use the Cruise Controll you could make them all to drive as fast as possible
Turbine = ALL TEH ELECTRIK
Windmill = ALL TEH WHET MILLN
I feel like you deserve more views one your videos. And more subscribers. But none the less nice video.
"A reasonable speed of 500mph"
"A small loan of a million dollars"
Notice the similar format?
Fast Driving can't melt steel engine blocks.
I see what you did there...
16:55 - engine reached temperature of about it's melting point. Aluminium melts at about 660.32 °C.
Engines are never made from pure aluminium, though, its always an aluminium alloy and thus probably has a higher melting point.
+ooo 52 I have to disagree with you, because most alloys have lower melting points than their base materials. For example 2024 duralumin (aluminium alloy) melts at 500°C which is 160°C less than pure aluminium.

when a car goes 300+ mph and doesn't break, you know its a hotwheels car.
Maybe the bolide's engine is made of sand and will melt at 3,200 degrees.
And it looks like a dragon at 19:41
An engine that is running at 1700+ °C... and it can still get the car up to 150+ mph?
Yeah, sure, that's realistic.
I suppose it doesn't simulate thermal warping yet. Or, you know, melting.
you have a laugh EXACTLY like Vinesauce Joel's.
When he said 1300 degrees celsius at 16:34 made me laugh very hard
Yo WhyBeAre, you should try the ETK 800 Series Wide Body Edition. Its top car has a top speed of over 240 mph, and there is a really badass drift tune as well. By the way, keep it up with the great videos.
Never played BeamNG.drive because i don't have a pc, but i would totally play it the first week 24/7
I love it videos I am a boy it's my mom's account BTW u are so awesome
at 12:47 and 12:49 you can see that the oil temp went up on the bolide.
On fire, slow, and steady wins the race!
Hey YBR, what if you took some cars and let them go on random AI along this map, then got a police car and tried to chase down and disable as many as you can without changing or resetting your own car. That'd be really cool I think.
I was doing that yesterday with this map... It's cool but the ai tends to stay in one lane
You will be missed. 😔
4:50 i think the car was doing this becaouse it was overheating ?
