Banger video, if you didnt know the gas mask requires you to put a filter in it, so if you find find one and use it make sure it's actually got a filter on it, otherwise you're wearing a useless gas mask, and that filter has durability so you need to swap them every now and then. The other gas mask in the game uses the same filter but offers better gas/rad protection at the cost of not being able to use a headset for hearing. Also be careful with radiation, it can cause permanent damage to your PMC (I learned the hard way), anything above 30 rads isnt treatable and can only be cured through tasks with therapist, and I agree some sort of anti rad pills would really help, right now the only thing to combat rads is the perfotoran (blue blood) stim and the AI-2 cheese.
what are some of the permanent affects? and how to cure them?
@glossyglock9411 as you get more rads you get a tunnel vision effect, character violently coughs, slowed walking speed, less stamina, and a few others I think. But as you cross the 30 rad threshold it can no longer be healed past that point, youve been too irradiated and only resetting your account or doing some sort of task with therapist can save you.

The developers were inspired by the original stalker games, and stalker modders got inspired by Tarkov

Reserve Bunker feels like such a cool endgame area with all the hazards now, it's cool as hell.
Now if only we could get a mod that modifies rarity of loot in a area based off radiation. Like if I spawn reserve the farther I get from spawn the rarer the loot gets, obviously that would require a little bit of trickery because you'd have to find a way to either have a extract guaranteed to be out of radiation or only require a extremely short trip into radiation.
That would kinda give Tarkov a very S.T.A.L.K.E.R feel.

I’ve maxed out the PVE tarkov acc, and run through SPT a couple times. It’s sad to me how a couple passionate modders can make SPT so much better then anything BSG even comes close too in the PVE version. Your video is giving me Anomaly vibes, good one 👍🏻
Counterstrike turned 25 this year. Free mods have been better than vanilla games for at least a quarter of a century. I don't think that's sad, it's what makes PC gaming great!
@@Judasdfg Good point. I think I more so meant it’s just sad how it took modders to fix things that have been messed up since I started playing back in 2019, and are still broken 5 years later. But it’s good for us that they did :)
Your videos have really made me want to play SPT again. I’m now eagerly awaiting for Realism to update to the newest SPT version so I can finally join in on the fun.
The bugs In 3.9 are pretty bad mainly pmcs and scavs not fighting each other. Im glad I kept a backup of 3.8 to play till 3.9 gets updated.

At this point, someone might as well add anomalies and artifacts into SPT
i always take the lights out if i can during night raids. cant stand being blinded with nvgs on lol
The 2 very best things that SPT does is Night Vision and Fixed Pk06 sight

Could you compile a mod list you use for SPT?
If BSG doesn't make actual radioprotective supplements or meds for the game, they or even modders can just repurpose injectors to add radioprotectice properties, or implement the use of the AI-2 meskits anti-rad capsules. Those little dual colored capsules in those medkits are potassium iodide and other metabolic agents that help pass radiation in real life. It would make sense if BSG made animations for those in the future, or if they/modders just make an antirad buff to the medkits and just keep the regular syrette animations.

man i've been playing realism and its rough. i think i made a mistake doing a zero-to-hero start on standard account instead of using an EOD account. i got no damn space!
Looks awesome but shouldnt the realism mod make scavs without protective gear die to gas and radiation?
The potential for EFT is unbelievable, I hope in the next year or years to come, to see the open world with all the intricacies related.

So I downloaded SPT because of these videos but because it has just updated to 3.9 most of the mods you use in these videos aren't compatible yet. I have no point of reference, how long does it take to get these bigger conversion mods updated as well?
I wonder if any of the mods you've got installed fix the crazy overheating rate for the VSS and AS-Val. BSG's idea of nerfing the guns a while back was to just nearly double their heat gain.
well vss and val, originaly in real life should not be used as assault rifles. This is something between a marksman rifle and a submachine gun.

@@KiloShock 9x39 is almost the same size as 7.62x39 and is only smaller by a few MMs.
The AK full auto isn't recommended because of recoil, why would the vss be any different 🤡
@Xenphos 9x39 is more comparable to 300 blackout and it's easy to manage on full auto.
Either way no gun heats up IRL like they do in tarkov, even with a supressor it takes a LOT to get it so hot it's visibly glowing like in game and even when it's that hot the only bad thing that happens is the heat mirage.

Love that your posting these more and more. Can't believe your using an SMG with these mods for me they feel so weak when i use them no matter what smg it is, vector, mp5, p90 and especially the MP( jesus i had 4 of them and they were all weak even with different ammo, they just don't do enough damage, i spray a whole clip into someone and they still breathing meanwhile i get one or two tapped even when wearing level 6-9 gear like wtf? Wait you can buy meds from skier? I haven't seen a single med item from him

I'm really liking this but performance is an issue, and I have a 4080s and a 7800x3d... I mean its definitely playable but its really hard to find the balance of giving up action for framerate in the donut max AI spawn settings. And even if you make the raids too quiet and get lots of fps it still drops anyways as they spawn so its barely even worth giving up the action.

Sure, no pvp is something else and it may be a deal-breaker but just objectively, its a solid game thats a far better experience for what it is

Wonder if anyone knows - any spt mod that adds a realistic force reaction on being shot? Like when you place shot on ai entity, it cant aim and shoot you precisely right after that?
Realism has that, you can shoot the guns out of there hands and with sain there is a recovery time for when the bots got hit, it defaults to 0.1s or so but you could increase it.

3.9.0 but yea, its not been out very long. The big problem is that you cant download older version of spt
@@DastardlyDog It's in the comments section on his mod page. A guy asked a question about installing an earlier version of SPT so he could play Realism since that mod isn't on 3.9.0 currently. Fontaine (the mod author) got annoyed because comments on a mod page are SOLELY for the mod itself, and said the guy could've searched for the information anywhere else and that his mod page isn't the place to be asking irrelevant questions.
I get why he's annoyed at the guy, I mean Klean's exposure to Realism Mod is what's driving so much traffic to that page, and Fontaine has I'm sure been bombarded with people wanting that mod updated so they can play too. The guy who asked the question wasn't being a dick by any means, but also he was asking a tired question in the wrong place.

It's with Realism in the plugin menu. I don't remember if it's an advanced option or basic. Press F12 to open the plugin menu, there should be a box at the top that says "Advanced Options" that you can click to adjust more things.

Yeah sadly. Even the mod discord servers prohibit you from reupload of the spt 3.8.3. kind of sucks because of all the bugs.

You don't install SPT in your tarkov folder. It's a standalone install. It just requires that you own Tarkov to play this.

Trying editing SAIN if you have it. Klean showed off that a scav setting will spawn in a ton more then needed and lag your game. I think it was his last video? Sorry for not remembering the exact settings q.q
