Hi, thanks this was helpful as I'm thinking about buying A9 or Dreame V9.
Based on you experience which of these two models is likely to last longer and be easier to maintain? Also can all the A9 filters and brushes be washed including the Hepa filter?
I'm leaning towards to A9 even though it's about $50 more expensive than Dreame v9, however I'm concerned about the limited availability of the A9 replacement accessories as I assume filters and brushes should be replace at least annually to maintain performance.

Honestly, I haven't recorded the actual charging time.. according to the manual it's about 3.5 hours...
I use it mainly for places the robotvacuum can't go...and I have place it near the cats litter boxes...they always throw some 'catsan' out the litter boxes..with this vacuum it is sucked up in seconds haha..
Check out my comparison where I test this Viomi vs Roborock, Roidmi and the first Dreame cordless vacuum..it's a pleasant surprise..
I must admit with carpets..the roborock cleans deeper...but the price is twice as high..Viomi A9 is definitely a good purchase considering its price (sometimes for ≈170 euro)

@@XiaomiGadgetsGuide sweet i'mma watch the comparison video now, I'll be mainly using it for tiles and maybe the car, so long as it's a decent unit it should be nicee enough for me, seeing as it only comes with one battery is why i asked for the charge time, incase i run out mid use
nonetheless, bought it for 200AUD, excited to try it out. cleaning is more fun when you have the right tools
Interesting video. A couple of useful things you should've mentioned: 1: Does this have a trigger lock-function so you don't need to hold down the trigger all the time when vacuuming? 2: Did you notice any "sand" or did the wheels make any annoying sounds after a few vacuums? 3: Does this have a led display that shows battery time? 4: How's the handle weight?
Of course, those are only minor details, but it would've been nice to have that included in the video. That said, I am still liking this, for sure! A quality video that deserves waaay more views than this! Well done with this video, sir/madam!
Also, have you tried the Xiaomi Roborock Mace H6 with its soft roller yet? If so, how would you compare this one to that? I am curious about the differences between those 2... This one is cheaper, comes with a LED-light and seems to be doing a very good job overall! PS: I saw your other video where you did the test, but is the H6 you tested there the same as the Mace H6, or..?
First of all thank you for your kind words! Comments like this makes me want to continue my videos ,demonstrating products in the field of Xiaomi's big arsenal of devices.
1.This one doesn't have a trigger..just a button, which is more convenient
2. Wheels are pretty clean, it's made out of a hard rubber ..still I recommend to clean wheels of every vacuum once in a while. The most important thing after purchase to do with any electronic device is to maintain it. For example many people but a robot vacuum and don't maintain it. But I must state this cordless vacuum does a great job ..for example..the roborock is made out of hard plastic (wheels).
3. It has an indicator but not in actual time (numbers).. it has 4 lights..
4. My wife can vacuum and holding our baby at the same time:)
I don't have the soft roller..it would cost another 60 euro or something. Unfortunately I can't show you the results.
Overall this vacuum is a great choice..it is maybe not as strong built like the Roidmi but it cuts the price a lot. It is very well thought and even though the suction power is less it does a great job! I also like it that the sound doesn't have a very high tone.

Hmm, somehow, it seems like this one is better than the Mace H6 on several levels, but maybe that soft roller (that I have included in my version when I bought it) might be a game changer for the Mace H6... Also, is the Mace H6 different than the one you tested, or they're the same, just different model name? And how are the wheels on this compared to the H6 you tested? Are they the same, or?
This vacuum is about €70 cheaper than the H6 that I bought, and it seems to be able to compete with many of the top contenders out there, based on your results! Interesting to see that, actually. Either way, despite this being a good choice, I hope that my Mace H6 will be a good choice as well.
@@Shookie don't regret your purchase..the H6 is a great product. Ofcourse price is higher because of the LED display showing all type of modes and extras. The higher suction power is a plus for sure. Higher suction=bigger engine= higher price:).. if you have the money, why not?
I believe all Cordless vacuums from Xiaomi's ecosystem are great! But some are more convenient or bring something extras others don't..at the end..you can't go wrong on any of these:)

I have seen the v9 for around 120 euro..
The Roidmi is probably the best quality out of 3.. but if I need to choose.. based on comfort and convenience. I would go for Viomi A9. Maintaining the cordless vacuum is most easy...the dustbin can be opened in 2 ways, the battery can be taken out and replace easily +unfortunately, haven't seen spare battery for sale yet, probably come soon)
But at the end....none of them are bad...
My mother got the f8 she's happy with it.. I gave the Dreame V9 to my grandmother and she loves it:)

One question: can the A9 share floor head with the Dreame V9? I have the V10 and if they are compatible, I might just buy the Viomi and use it with the V10 flexible hose (and gift the V10 without the hose to other family member perhaps) 😂

Let me help you with your question:
Unfortunately, the answer is no.
The reason is: Viomi and Dreame are two different companies with their own research and development department. Same goes for Roidmi and Roborock. All the vacuums and their equipment are unfortunately not interchangeable.
What I truly like about the Viomi model is how well it picks up big mess on hard floors:)
Haha I gave the V9 to my 87 year old grandmother who is very happy with it. The Roidmi is gifted to my mother. I kept the Viomi for myself:)
The roborock I use for carpets as it has a special carpet brush.

Long term plan, I have seen the V9/V10 batteries and parts like the soft roller brush/head being sell, but I can’t quite say the same for the Viomi parts (at least, in my country). Another reason I went for the V10 last time.
Have you seen the battery being sold at your country? Viomi is being very low-key with their cordless vacuum despite the very goooooood performance. I am looking for a(nother) reason to pull the trigger on this one actually 😂

I thought first it was great when I bought it. It has just stopped working after 10 months. I went to authorised Viomi service in Poland and it rejected the repair with giving me no actual reason. It is still under the guarantee.
Hi I have a question. Unfortunatelly the charger of my vacuum cleaner broke and I don't find anywhere seperate charger for it.. In my country (Hungary) there is no viomi shop only xiomi and they couldn't help. I also tried to find charger on amazon/ebay/aliexpress but I couldn't find anywhere.. Do you have any idea what should i do?😔

Update after over 1 year of use...
So basically it's really easy to damage or have a part to lose function for this vacuum. I bought a replacement floor brush head because it just stopped working after it sucked up a sock and Xiaomi Au wouldn't guarantee the warranty because it's user caused. 🙃
Now the extension pole has lost properly power delivery to the brush head, so it doesn't fully deliver power properly 😑 like I love how the vacuum runs when there are no problems but it makes me cautious to buy another even tho the price is so good

Viomi tech official store on AliExpress doesn't sell the a9 to your country? Thats sad to hear. For Dreame I would look for a newer model as they are already 4/5 models further...(if your wallet allows it) I've seen the v9 for 125 euro on internet not long ago which is an absolute great value for price. But maybe the V10 is a few bucks different from v9? Than I would go for v10
For the spec, viomi a9 has 23kpa for suction, dreame v9 20kpa, and v10 22kpa (just 1k difference)
And both dreame product stick with its battery and doesn't have led

@@katienovrianti2498 the Dreame was normally much higher priced 180-220 euro... But since so many models out..the v9 was majorly discounted over few online retailers. Viomi cost around 199 euro...sometimes cheaper in sale

It looks like the 1C is manufactured by Dreame (I'm not 100% sure)... Dreame makes great cordless vacuums lately..they improving with every new release! And what's cool to know is..they are capable of making their own brushless motor...no other subpartner company from Xiaomi does that;
Unfortunately, I can't answer your question as I never tested the 1C.
In most cases the Mi branded model is a cheaper version..this doesn't have to be a downgrade in performance but you can see it for example with Mi sensors VS aqara..Mi Fans/purifiers vs Smartmi fans/purifiers... It's mostly a difference with material use but can also miss a few features which are applied to the version of the partner company.

From the "vacuum wars" channel tests, I realized that the Jimmy JV51 has the best filtration system among the cheap vacuum cleaners. But it has a white color and quickly loses its marketable condition - dirt is visible on it. Also, his turbo brush fails over time.
@Xiaomi Gadgets Guide Yes, I'm kinda curious too. Smoke or fog will do, just to check wether the air coming from the exhaust at the bottom filtering the fog/smoke or not. This test can confirm wether it is a sealed vacuum or not. Please make another video with this test.

Hello Zeliha, unfortunately not. The battery can be taken out..so you can charge it near any power outlet. This way you can Install the the wall tool (dock) anywhere you want (no need to be around a poweroutlet)
