Wow!! I had to stop this video and replay 8 times and I am so happy I did. What a fantastic card for my wee grandgirls. I love thus and so will they. Thank you. 🌷😁🌷
There is no way on God's Green Earth that I will ever make a card that fussy. But, I truly enjoyed watching you identify the problems (er, "opportunities for growth") and fix them. If I ever take leave of my senses I'll come back and watch more carefully in the hopes of saving half a day of figuring-out time. LOL!
Thank you so much for demonstrating that for us! I actually have the mechanism that MFT has for wiper cards, but haven't used it yet because I didn't have a clear understanding of how to do it (even AFTER watching the video multiple times). It would appear that you made your own so, I might have to tweak mine a bit, but at least I now have a more clear understanding of what I'm supposed to do! Thank you so much!
Really great card, Julie! I love the whole concept & execution. I made a wiper card for my SIL's birthday last year. The hardest part--the only hard part, really--was the wiper mechanism itself. I finally figured out that it does matter exactly where between the top & bottom of the card base you mount the wiper. Thankfully, I was able to figure things out regarding that without destroying the card itself! LOL On mine (I was following a Mixed Up Craft tutorial), the image popped up above the card base. I didn't think until after everything was together that I needed to put a blank piece on the back of my image to sandwich the extension arm in between. And of course, I had already attached my image--my FUSSY CUT image (no coordinating die)--to the extension piece, so that was even more "fun" to fix! I wish now I had thought then to make a template first--great idea & tip, btw. Ah, the trials and tribulations of us card makers! LOL Anyhoo, thank you so much for sharing. Take care, & have an awesome day! :)
I have some "wiper" dies that I got on clearance, and I have not understood how to use them. So you are not alone! TY for showing me. I just got those lawn fawn bug stamps and dies, so I will try it. So stinkin' cute!
The choice of stamps for this mechanism are perfect, what an adorable card! I haven't tried this yet ( too much maths and physics), but you made it look easier 😍
This card is absolutely adorable!!! Any chance of you linking a PDF of the template of your card in the description box below the video??? I'd really like to give this a try but I'm a very hands-on gal😊😊😊

Super cute - I think it's great to leave all the 'error's in to show us how to troubleshoot - we all have to do it at some point!
So adorable! My grandchildren will love this. TFS
Adorable card! And thanks so much for showing us the pitfalls--you've saved a lot of frustration!
Wow! I loved this card. Thanks for the oopsies too, and how to fix it. Great little card with A WOW FACTOR.

You did a great job. I bought Mama Elephants die and template for this and have yet to have to gumption to make it yet. I guess I can do it now. :)
