70s and 80s were the very best in life, what a time to be alive
No doubt!
I wouldn’t mind getting a new 1972 Nova.
I like these old, retro game shows comparing prices and quality of prizes then as now tpir in 2024
If she were playing today with Drew Carey, she would had won a Double Showcase.

I'm going to strictly by memory Dennis James who performed the nighttime version of The Price is Right

I was only 104 dollars off the first showcase. What a beautiful Nova!
I hit it right on the head!!
Guessing second is a big advantage.
We need 1972 prices lol
Along with 1972 wages?
1972 was the year the oil embargo began which started to drive prices upward.

It's a good thing she didn't win that Nova. It would have never made it to Squaw Valley.
A Vega would of only made it halfway to squaw Valley
My neighbor had one is spent more time in the shop than they drove it
She would have done well with an Impala over a Nova.
Those 6 cylinder Novas were unstoppable.
That Nova would be worth a lot more than $3500 today, and that price included the trip.
The trip would be more than that now.
That boat looked like a death trap.
A COLOR T.V.!!!!!!
I feel a little sick watching this video... because that's the only time I could back then. Staying home from school sick.
