very cool interview. what I noticed that takes a lot of time (at least for me) is everything pre- and post workout like preparing the foods and drinks, showering, stretching, washing and preparing the clothes, packing gymbag etc. I sometimes have two different workouts a day at different times, so I need different stuff and it just takes so much time. And I am not even training that many hours as she does. Baffled how people can do this while working full-time
there's only 6 comments here. But I think humans are amazing and to truly push ourselves to the limit is the best thing for mankind. individual brilliance makes a massive difference to the whole.
The obstacles get all of the notoriety, but at the end of the day, the people I see killing it at Spartan Races can literally run - not jog, not power hike, but run - the distance signed up for. I've seen these Elites in person and they are not impressive at climbing ropes or flipping tires. In fact, they look quite weak and awkward. But they can run like a deer.
Its ridiculous that there are 3 sports marketed to be a mix of everything, yet have obvious biases. Spartan = runners. CrossFit = olympic lifters. Ninja warriors = climbers.

Have a couple of kids and keep up that routine and your officially wonder woman.
I detect possible “performance enhancers,“ a.k.a. “gear,“ can’t be sure.
