hey. Let me tell you more about Hyungho Kang.
He found out he could sing super high notes in his teens. A woman's soprano voice. Even after he went through his transformation period, he was able to produce that note.
He wanted to major in music in college, but his parents opposed him, so he majored in chemistry. And after he graduated he joined Samsung.
Even as a college student, he was active in a rock band club. A junior member of the club wrote about meeting him and working in a band with him, and I read it.
He was loved because he sang well in the band, and he performed a lot.
But that wasn't enough to make a living, so he joined Samsung.
Even while working at Samsung, he formed a band for his co-workers and performed whenever he had time.
Then one day, I found out that a broadcasting station called Jtbc was running an audition program called ‘Phantom Singer.’ He took on the challenge of ‘Phantom Singer 2’.
He said, 'Now that I'm 30 years old, I want to let go of my regrets. He said that once he was on the air, he tried to give up music. He tried to be satisfied with leaving his video on broadcast once.
But he came out last on his first broadcast, and it got a huge response. The moment he sang ‘Phantom of the Opera’, everyone was shocked. Both the judges and the viewers.
That broadcast is an audition program to create a male quartet.
After many twists and turns, four people were formed, and the name of the team was ‘Forestella’.
But from then on he suffered. The path Forestella must take is a wasteland.
No one knew the team, no one called them.
Because there was no demand for a male quartet. They had to pave the way.
He had to decide whether to give up his big company or pioneer the wilderness. If he chose the company, the team would have to be disbanded.
However, he gave up on the company, and from then on, a difficult time of pioneering ensued.
Fans of Kang Hyeong-ho and Forestella, who were created on 'Phantom Singer 2' broadcast in 2017, tried to make them known.
The first national tour concerts were not sold out, and there was almost no way for them to get on air. There was no way to let them know.
But I finally appeared on a program called ‘Immortal Songs’ for the first time, and that was the beginning of everything.
Viewers experienced for the first time how impressive the male quartet's harmony was. Those who got the highest scores on their first appearance were immediately asked to appear on the next episode, and they won that episode. (That program is the longest-running program in Korea, and every week, current singers compete and win.)
After that, 'Immortal Song' featured Forestella many times, and they had the best winning record.
The national concerts held every year are sold out, and Kang Hyung-ho is even holding a private concert.

This song is about a person who becomes a ghost called Changgui who died after being bitten by a tiger. Changgui becomes the tiger's slave and always stays by his side, serving him, taking care of his meals, and guiding him along the way.

Ha ha. I'm not surprised by number of Nightwish covers, but this stadium cover in a live show surprised me. If famous musicians started doing covers, then Tuomas is not writing songs for nothing and Nightwish's popularity is not accidental.

And after this you go and watch Nella Fantasia o Hijo de la luna and it’s like “Are you kidding me? Is this actually the same singer?😮😂. His versatility is amazing. He is in fact a chemical engineer and was working as a chemical researcher in a company when he decided to join de tv contest phantom singer season 2 as his last attempt to make his wish of become a singer come true and he was the last one to become part of Forestella. The contest started with solo performances (he auditioned with his amazing phantom of the opera, by the way), then the contestants who had passed they performed in duets… the final part was the quartet performances and that was the beginning of Forestella. He didn’t quit his job until 1 year later more or less, so he did both; his job and preparing the performances for a while.
I've watched both of these performances Kang is amazing, I'm so glad he choose singing😂

Hyung Ho always wanted music, but his parents didn't approve, so he got his degree in chemical engineering. Now I'd like to hear how his parents feel now! He's amazingly talented.

Hyungho actually mentioned about it in a concert, that his mother apologized about it. But he also said that he might not have attained his current success if he had pursued music as a career in the past.
