Great video Greg! Wondering if you think the Max is worth spending the extra over the standard model? Trying to stay light, but would consider the added weight if the benefit outweigh the cost. Thanks!
Thank you! I'd say if you're sub 200 pounds the max is the best all around kayak for transporting and trying new places or getting into really small bodies of water. That's basically why I have it while in NY vs Cali when I'm fishing big water and fast water at that such as the Delta not to say the max wouldn't work there, I just prefer a big vessel when going out there and typically going miles and miles away from the launch.
@@GregBlanchardFishing another question, have you ever had issues with the Newport vessel NK180 controller not switching over to lithium battery setting? Thanks!
Dude I'm from norther mi and fish the Great Lakes where you can se 40ft down or clear inland lakes where you can see up to 20 ft. When its windy throw a jerk bait or spinner bait or chatters etc. Calm just throw a seiko, tube, drop shot, ned, etc with long casts.

Honestly don't think you'd really go wrong with either one. Enjoy!
@GregBlanchardFishing that's a very good point! I can't go wrong with either. I'll probably go with the 10 because I weight like 185, and I tote my kayak everywhere lol and yours seems to handle the bigger lakes well anyway! Thanks for reaching back out Greg!
