All I've Got (second song)...the detailship in Chantal's voice in this song I haven't heard for many albums. Chantal, you're back...you are the "Queen of Angst", good or bad, this is your wheelhouse.
If you can, grab tickets to see Chantal's current tour, it's like a concert I've never seen before...touching, funny, and introspective...unforgettable. The concert covers her new album and sounds even better live.
Impeccable!! I had a moment where I was struggling with forgiveness; ‘The wolves are vicious over here on my side’ shook me to the core. The intensity and ferocity of the classical instrumentals, and your ever angelic sound, voices of a choir of angel on high are transcendent! It’s shockingly always over too soon; wow Chantal, this song is prolific- am glad I am here when you shine as ‘bright as bethlehem’!! I hear bells!! I want a stellar tribal house mix imediates! Thank you, I’m sorry, I love you~
Saw her live with Kevin when they came to Mission, BC...the absolute most profound performance I have ever seen. Chills to the Bone. Wept like a baby! LOL. They are ridiculously talented.
Wow absolutely hautning and beautiful performance, amazing talent! Does anyone know the name of the guy on the cello, would love to check him out and what else he does! Thanks! :)
David Spring Surprised no one replied to this question sooner. It's Kevin Fox. I recall him way back playing cello on one of my favourite Sarah Harmer songs - Lodestar. He plays for lots of Canadian musicians I believe.
I just found this. Chantal is just incredible live! But, her studio recordings are a bit of let down in comparison. There's so much energy in her voice and performance but the recordings are so tame.

Wow!! Her songs sound even better with just the piano and cello!

Chantal is a terrific musician, George has an eye and an ear for talent, that is clear
