Sorry about that. Got a new phone and it dips when I spray. I will have to find a work around on that for the future. You can check out the full version on Instagram. @headlinermagic Thanks for watching Natalie. Marcus Headliner Magic
I’ve always had this question, I am doing foam backed suede fabric on my headliner in my car. However it is not a headliner repair just a headliner upgrade, right now I have beige headliner I want to change to black suede, I just can’t decide if I should strip the current fabric or just glue ontop, my car is a 2013 BMW X3 and the headliner fabric is like brand new, no sagging or creases. Is there anything else that should decide whether I strip it or glue over? How does the fabric feel when you have 2 layers of fabric over it, I don’t want to to feel too soft since there will be 2 fabrics if I just glue ontop, I like it to be thick but soft to the touch as well. Someone please help me out
My apologies for just now getting back to you. I. You can use the non-Foam version to go right over the exiting headliner material if it is in great shape. Thanks for checking out the video. Marcus
@@HeadlinerMagic does the material stretch every way or just one way Should I use 3m super 77 or industrial contact cement ? Do you offer glue as well? I’ve been using Joann fabric and gorilla glue spray 🤣 man I’m moving up in the world
@@kingcon5364 The 3M 77 does not have the High Temp properties needed to withstand the hot temps of a vehicle. 3M now makes an adhesive for headliners. If you need to use a spray can then I would suggest our Performance Adhesive link here. headlinermagic.net/products/spray-glue-adhesive
Thanks for showing us how you do this! The audio was quiet but informative.
